Default October Medifast

Yesterday I ordered my 1st month of Medifast. About three years ago I used Medifast and had some great success with it but in recent months gained almost half back. I know it worked for me previously so I am not going to beat myself up too much over my set back. I think this time around I will need to keep Medifast around long term for maintenance which is not something I did before. Anyway, I am glad to be here and can't wait to start.

Juniper Berries! Yes, maintaining weight loss is a whole other ball of wax. Good luck with your new start!

Welcome, Juniper Berries!

You know it works - you can do it again!

This seems relatively easy to me so far. I think maintenance will be the hard part - when the structure is not there. I've got a lot more to lose before I have to worry about maintenance, but I do know my coach has been at goal since late winter, and she's still buying bars. Seems like a good idea to me.

The more I think about it the more I believe I will definitely need to keep some MF around my house. In the beginning I was so good. I was able to eat regular meals and stay on maintenance but then I just began to slide. I thought about going back to MF before but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I think I had the mentality that I had failed and what was the point. Now I know that if I don't do something to get my eating habits under control that is the true failure for me. So, here I am. Anxiously waiting for my package.

Welcome back! While its a bit discouraging to hear about people losing weight on MF and then gaining some or all of it back. It is encouraging to hear that they go back to MF (because they know its works). I too think MF products may have a permanent place in my cupboard even after maintenance.

Well that was weird...my entire post disappeared except for my smilie. Just checking in a wishing everyone a great MF day tomorrow. My shippment arrived this afternoon and was full of my favorite chocolate shakes and chocolate pudding. This was all I ordered for the month. I figure I like chocolate so much that as long as it is in my MF there is no reason for me to cheat..right? Right! Have a great evening everyone!
