Magic Bullet - What's with all the pieces?!

  • Last night when I went to Costco to pick up a freezer load of meat for my Lean & Greens, I noticed they were having a sale on Magic Bullets. So, I picked up a 25 piece set for $44.

I totally understand how useful a personal blender could be with this program. (Six ounces of pudding would be lost in the blades of my standard blender.) But why all the pieces? The blender bowl, base, two blades, and two mixing cups are fine, BUT there are at least five cups and lids that seem to have no purpose other than being more cups and lids to take up space. Is it okay to toss these out, or do they serve some other purpose that I don't yet grasp?

Also, if anyone is interested, I stopped at World Market and they carry an extensive line of Torani's sugar-free syrups. I'm going to try a few squirts of these with some of my bottled water, and possibly start making snow cones with the Magic Bullet.
  • I think the extra cups are so you can serve several people at one time each having their own cup.
  • I think it's for mixing up individual drinks for a person.
  • Ahhh...okay! I thought the extra cups were JUST serving cups. But, now I see that the colorful rings come off so you can attach the cups directly to the blades. That's the part I was missing on my first pass.

    Thank you!!!
