Default Energy levels

Just wanted to start a thread on energy levels on Medifast. What have you all experienced? I know the first three days are low energy, what have you guys felt after that?

I did this diet last summer, and that's what seemed to get me down, I just didn't have a lot of energy. However, I fell off the train a lot, so I think in some ways I was hovering in the "first three days" often.

I also get kind of brain dead at work around 4 pm on this diet, any tips to overcome that?

Just restarted today, and looking forward to getting through the low energy part

Are you drinking enough water? I find that staying well-hydrated helps prevent drowsiness in the afternoon.

Default Water

Thanks, Margalo, I'll try that tomorrow! I drink water in the morning, but not much in the afternoon when I get tired.

I have on days and off days. Sometimes I'm full of energy and feel like I want to go run around the yard with my dog! And other days, I'm just BLAH and want to take a nap. Im not sure if thats just me, or if it has do to with MF. Who knows. I drink tons of water, etc. I still get headaches every few days, too.

I was a little worried about whether or not I could drink all the water this plan calls for, but I have been drinking a TON of water and my energy has been good (except for before my morning coffee ). However, I haven't been at work all weekend, so we'll see if my energy levels change once I go back for a full work day tomorrow.
