Is the Medifast entrees tasty? Also dietdirect.com legit?
I received a catalog from dietdirect.com and was looking through it. They do carry products I am interested in but I was wondering if they foods are good, such as the wonderslim chocolate pudding or the cheesecakes for a dessert. I would love this but I am afraid to order in case it's not good. What about the entrees such as the spicy cheesy pasta or the bars? Also which brands would you suggest? They carry medifast, barislim or something like that and wonderslim. I want the ones that are good can will encourage me to eat them. LOL. Is dietdirect.com legit? They don't scam me and take my money and not deliver? Anyone had any dealings with them? Thank you.
I buy from Dietdirect.com all the time. In fact I just got a new shipment this week! The food is good, actually tastes much better than Medifast and YES they are legit! I buy mainly Wonderslim & Bariwise products from them. Believe it or not, many people that started out using Medifast are now using the products from diet direct. They still post on the Medifast boards but they just don't tell anyone they are using a different product. You may want to order the Wonderslim 2 week package to get a sampling of the products to see what you like. In my opinion, Wonderslim and Bariwise are MUCH better than Medifast, less expensive and free shipping when you spend $79. I think with Medifast you have to spend like $250 for any shipping reduction, atleast when I was buying Medifast. The shakes are thicker and very tasty. I like all the products. My favorite Wonderslim shakes are, mocha, vanilla, chocolate, cocomint cream. I really love the Wonderslim coffee chocolate bars. Carbs are higher so I only eat 1 per day. I really like the Bariwise vanilla cappuccino & their flavored hot cocoa (raspberry & mint). If you do buy online, make sure you click on their coupons. They offer lots of discounts, like now us XMAS515 at chekout and get $15 off orders of $99 or more. So, a Wonderslim 2 week pkg would cost you $134 plus free shipping instead of $149. If you call in your order, the customer service people are very nice and you can ask about the discount coupons. I always have my order in 2 days from the date I order.
As far as Medifast, it does work. Tasty?? Well in my honest opinion, not too tasty. It is not gourmet food BUT you get used to it. It took me awhile to like the soups and oatmeal. Shakes are OK if made with very cold water, some ice and whipped up in a Magic Bullet.
Hope this helps.

Reason: add info to original post
thanks very much for the info about wonderslim. I was going to join Medifast and read your post. Do you think one has to join MF for any reason, or can I just order the ws start package?
Wonderslim and Medifast are two different products and two different companies. You don't have to join MF if you want to buy WS starter package. You may want to join the MF boards and its free but dont go on there saying that you are doing Wonderslim because they will probably ban you. There is a lot more interaction on the MF boards than anywhere else, so you may want to go there for support, just dont say that you are doing Wonderslim.
I also order from Diet Direct and am happy with their products and their service. Everyone is different, but I like the WonderSlim Chocolate and Cocomint Cream Pudding/Shakes (prepared as a shake), WonderSlim Strawberry Yogurt Smoothies, WonderSlim Pretzel Bows, ProtiDiet Protein Fruit Drink Concentrate in Orange, Vanilla Soft Cookies, BariWise Hot Chocolate, and the WonderSlim Protein Diet Bars in Caramel Brownie Nut (I returned all of the other flavors that I tried). The WonderSlim Cheesecake is OK, I like it with some strawberries on top, or a crushed Bordeaux cookie. The great thing about Diet Direct is that, if you don't like something, you can return it for a full refund. I suggest that you order 1 box of everything that interests you to try them out. Within a few days, you will know what you like and can just order more. They ship quickly!
I also want to clarify, Diet Direct does not sell Medifast.
I also did Medifast before, and honestly the only thing that I would eat of theirs willingly is the Chocolate Mint bars (the one that you can only eat once a day). The Medifast chat rooms are very active, but in general they are VERY on plan and can all recite the information that Medifast has "feed" them in their sleep!! I think that Medifast works for people that don't want to have to think about food and need restrictions. Medifast is very black and white, either you are on plan or you are not. If you want to go the high protein, low carb/low fat route 100%, then I recommend their forums. If you want to incorporate these products into a diet that is not necessarily low carb, then I would not go use their chat rooms, as it may discourage you. Good luck!
