Question newbie to MF with questions (TOM)

Hello everyone, I started MF a couple weeks ago, but stopped during my TOM. I had some concerns that my cycle started earlier (4 days) and was lasting much longer. My cycles are always regular and are the same every month. I am 37 years old. Anyhow, I called the nurse at my OBGYN office and she said it was likely the high soy content of my diet causing this. She recommended me to stop. I did stop because I was worried my cycle was going to keep going on and on.
Has anyone else had problems with MF affecting their TOM/cycle? Did it get better? I want to start back on the program, but am a little worried that this might not be a good program for me. I really hope that I can make MF work for me.
Does anyone have any advice? By the way, I'm really happy to have found this forum and look forward to posting more.
Thanks!!

I've not been on the MediFast diet or anything similar but I did hear that soya has a lot of phytoestrogens, which can muck up your hormone levels...

Apparently the introduction of phytoestrogens into the water supply (via our wee) from soya consumption and from the pill is making men less and less fertile, but I reckon that's mostly hysteria.

My wife had some of these issues for a few weeks, then it subsided. She did some research, & found out that her body was releasing estrogen that had been trapped in her shrinking fat cells.

There are policies in place on 3fc to prevent health coaches from offering too much info, so the best I can do is suggest the following:

If you go to their website...
http://www.tsflsupportinmotion.com

You'll find free support to answer questions you may have in their FAQ section.

They also have a toll free number: 800-572-4417, option 1.

Keep Looking Up!

Joe
