Default i'm new and excited and have a question

hello everyone

i've been a lurker for awhile. i have been trying to decide what diet plan would be best for me. i've done atkins before (with success) but am finding that i am not losing weight as i try to dress up my atkins menu (i am a pastry chef and look for any excuse to use heavy whipping cream!).

i am certain (well as certain as one can be without having done it) that medifast is the plan for me. i don't have too terribly much to lose (30 lbs.) and feel like i could do this program. not only do i feel that i could do it, i am extremely excited about it!

but this morning i went to the medifast website to place my order and i was torn. should i buck up and pay the extra for the momentum plan or go advanced or stick with the basics. i would imagine that if i call they will recommend the momentum, they are trying to make money after all! but i thought i would ask you guys to get a real opinion from someone who has nothing to gain but good karma with their advice.

thanks so much for any help! i am looking forward to getting to know you guys over the next few months!!!

sooz

ps. sorry that i went overboard with the icons, but i have never seen so many and, well, i just couldn't help myself!

Try ebay for medifast.I did that so I didn't have to commit and I could try them and see if I liked the taste.

I wouldn't do the momentum at first. I would do just the regular plan. They say that you shouldn't do the momentum until you hit a spot that you aren't loosing. You can always try freecycle for some free medifast. I got some from there last year. A whole months worth..

i didn't even think of trying to get a discount! what in the heck is wrong with me? i am an expert shopper and can usually save money on a nickle (that is what my mom says although i'm not sure it makes sense.) but didn't even think of going to ebay.
and freecycle? i haven't heard of this one before, but i think i'm gonna like it!
i decided to just bite the bullet and buy. what i did was look at what they recommended and then i bought that amount but in the flavors i thought i would like.
but if i didn't do it today, i might not have done it. but i did and i am excited!!!
i can't wait to get my products and see what i do and don't like.
thanks so much for the replies. i will report back as soon as i receive my goodies!
ttfn.
