Default Peanut Butter Crunch Bars?

Hi, I was placing an order this morning, and I noticed that the Peanut Butter Crunch Bars were no longer listed, as a choice. Anyone know why? They were the best tasting of all the bars--go figure!

The plant that made their peanut goo had a salmonella issue or twelve.

Hi, thanks for your reply. If you go to the Medifast main page, there is a notice saying that none of the Medifast products have been affected by the peanut recall? And, I just received a box about two weeks ago. Maybe, Medifast had second thoughts by taking them off the list? Darn, they were really good bars, too! LOL! Thanks, again!

I have no idea about the website, I just remember with the peanut recall the news here said Medifast and Nutri-whatever-it-is both used that plant.

I've heard that they're just temporarily out of stock of the pb bars. (from medifast boards)

Yes, thanks 'Onesy", I just received an email from Medifast and they are out of stock because of the high demand for the bars. As efficiently as they put up their notice that their bars were not affected by the recall, it probably would have been prudent to notify the customer of the stock issue, since Medifast must be aware that the peanut butter bars are the most awesome ones and in great demand! Ah, but logic belongs to few!! Thanks for your reply, Onesy, appreciate it very much!

No problem! Yes, you'd think they'd make an announcement! I love the peanut bars, they're probably my favorite

They are just temporarily out of stock. It is their most popular bar and they have been a bit overwhelmed on the supply with all the other stuff going on with peanuts.

I have to admit it is my favorite bar as well but I can work with the cinnamon or the chocolate mint till then.

Actually, found that I like the Oatmeal Raisen bars second to the Peanut Butter. Going to try the Cinnamon something bars, next. Heard they are pretty similar to the Oatmeal Raisen. I have found a Wonderslim alternative in the meantime.

Default peanut butter bars are available again!

The medifast forum said that the peanut butter bars are available again if you want to check it out.

If there was no peanut butter available, I would be forced to purchase a peanut butter flavored perfume or chap stick to meet my needs!
