Default Lean and Green - Shake Replacement?

Hello!

I'm interested in starting either Medifast or New Lifestyle in the new year. I'm worried about the lean and green, though. I hate salad, and I'm concerned that I'll go off plan when faced with it.

Do either of these plans allow for replacing the lean and green meal with extra shakes or something? I thought I read somewhere that you could replace the L&G with two shakes on New Lifestyle, but now I can't find it.

Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks!

It doesn't have to be salad, you could choose from a variety of other vegetables on the list. I think it's important to include the real food for a wide variety of reasons and not try to do it with more shakes. I personally don't care for the new lifestyle plan and think the medifast plan is more balanced. Try the lean and green, you might find you don't mind salad or other veggies at all When I tried Fat Smash, I hated rice (brown and white) but then discovered other types of whole grain rices such as black Forbidden rice, and now it's a regular part of my menu. Food can be an adventure

You definitely don't have to do salad for your lean & green.

My favorite L&G meal is seared tilapia with cut up tomatoes & cucumbers or spiced collard greens. The "green part" doesn't have to be "salad" - but you want to try to keep it to the lowest carbs possible. That means no potatoes, mac & cheese, peas, corn, etc.

There's a list on the MF site that tells you which carbs are good, better, & best. Just go thru the list & find what you like & WALL_AH! - Lean & green!

You can do a full fast on New Lifestyle. I think that you will do 9 shakes/supplements.
