Question Question About Making the Pudding

When I make the pudding it never completely thickens to the consistency of Jello pudding. I make it in the shaker and stick into the fridge. Anyone else experience this? TIA

I have not experienced this, I use a little less water, like 1/3 cup vs. 1/2 cup or just shy of 1/2 cup, and put in fridge. Stir before and after and it gets REALLY Thick!

Hope it gets better for you! You might call MF, Could be bad batch???

Sorry not more help!

Keep up your hard work.

I think temperature has a lot to do with it. The only time I made it and it didn't thicken properly, the water wasn't very cold. If I made it using water that was pre-chilled (I always keep a pitcher of drinking water in the fridge) then it always came out thick.

Hey Cat, It's me Susan...
Do you have the mixer that MF sells on line or the Magic Bullet? This works like a charm, you can make it & eat it right away.

I think that my water hasn't been cold enough. I have the MF shaker and a generic bullet but I have been just hand whisking the pudding. Thanks everyone for the advice.

I use ice cold water (measured so it's not over 4 oz) & a mini whisk. Works every time.

p.s. I still really love the banana pudding!
