I guess I could try to cook with the oatmeal...

Sue: I do not think that Violaholladay is on our plan!!! Regular oatmeal can not be allowed because it has way too many carbs!!! Although it would be nice if it was ;)

Thanks Flo...I thought I missed it!! LOL When I saw that post I thought, "oh crap, I've been eating the MF gruel w/water when I could have been having the tasty stuff!" :D

As soon as I opened the package of oatmeal I started to gag. I seriously think it's the smell. I mixed it and tossed it in the 'crowave. I had no problem getting it down, however the last few bites that were a little cold were a little hard to stomach. Tomorrow when I try the oatmeal I think I'll stand back when I rip open the package so that I don't have to smell it!! LOL

This is so funny I do not like oatmeal...never eat the stuff but I love the MF maple and brown sugar oatmeal....lol.

Ok, I see I"m not the only person that can't stand the smell. You guys do have some great suggestions (pancakes, banana bread, etc.) so I will try those. I start Medifast on Tuesday for the 2nd time, but this time, I think I can stick it out (espeically now that I know there are recipes on the MF site).

I've been pouring my oatmeal and water into the shaker, giving it a good shake and then popping it into the microwave (in another bowl). I really like it much better this way.

The M&BS oatmeal is wearing on me. I now don't have to hide from it when I open it. LOL
