New gal here

  • Just wanted to join y'all. I've been reading this forum for months and find it very inspiring. So much info!

I've maintained at my goal since June, then lowered my goal and lost 8 more pounds. Total 62 pounds.

Now I'm transitioning back into maintenance again, so I thought I'd jump in here and say hi!
  • Welcome, I am new, too.,I am not quite at goal but close enough that I have to give serious thought to maintaining.Looks like you are doing great maintaining.
  • Gatita, to 3FC and the Maintainers forum! Wow, congratulations on your wonderful weight loss and successful maintenance. Please jump in and post away -- we want to hear lots more from you!
  • And Bargoo, I've enjoyed reading all your posts and am so glad you've joined us here in Maintainers. You're always one of the most supportive members here at 3FC and I hope we can support YOU in your maintenance.
  • Thank you guys for the warm welcome!
  • Welcome gatita!

I am counting on your support. Meg, I have read your story and am inspired as I am by many maintainers. I admit to being a little nervous about maintaining but I know it is possible.
  • Thanks you guys... and good to join you, bargoo.

I wanted to add that I have a few new goals I want to achieve during maintenance... one is to slowly get to the bottom of my goal range (139-145)... the other is to join the National Weight Control Registry next June 15.

So nice to have this warm welcome here!
  • Great goals! I hope everyone joins the NWCR once they're eligible. We're the ones who they're studying and learning from!
