Good morning,

We had such a great time last night with our former neighbors. We walked down to the docks where people moor their boats, and we did see quite a few Manatees. We did take some photos, but they Manatees were the same color as the water and didn't suface very far above water, just their noses came up blowing air. It was really nice. Afterwards we went for pizza at an Italian restaurant neither of us has ever been to. The pizza was the best pizza DH & I have had down here. Then we went back to their place, they live in a 55 or over mobile home park where there is a community heated swimming pool and a hot tub, that is 104 deg. We swam in the pool for a while, then we went into the hot tub. OMG the hot tub was so nice. We got home fairly late and it's a good thing DH doesn't go into work until 3:00 pm, so we were able to sleep in a bit.

I got a phone call from a friend who lives in Massachusetts and she was telling me that in the town where she lives they've gotten around 90" of snow this winter. They're expecting another storm today and two more, or the same one, over the entire weekend. I think we picked a good time to move to FL.

Anne, I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you feel better by this afternoon. It sounds like you either ate something bad or it's the flu. Take care of yourself.

Nikki, how did the packing go yesterday? I'm glad that we and our former neighbors are hitting it off. They told us that we could use the community hot tub & pool whenever we wanted. But, DH & I wouldn't use them unless they were with us.

Hey Lynn, hope things are going ok for you.

Catch y'all later,
Ali

Good Morning,
Ali, that sounds like a wonderful place to live. I love the idea of a heated pool and everyone being over 55 would be a good place for me. I'd have to get a fake id though for awhile until I was old enough I'm so glad you guys are having such a nice time together.

Anne, isn't that always the way? The mom is usually the last one to get it after we've cleaned everyone else's messes up and done all the laundry, etc that follows. At least it's Friday and hopefully, you will be able to get some rest this weekend.

Hi, Lynn. Has the weather gotten any better up there yet?

Yesterday, DH went over to visit in his hometown. On his way home, his truck won't drive forward anymore. He said he was coming home on the gravel and had to back all the way back to town, about 3 miles. He stopped at a friends house and tried to call me, but I was on the phone with DD #2. Later, the truck worked right, so he was able to make it home. I think it's the transmission, he thinks it has something to do with the steering. He is probably right and I hope so, because that would be cheaper.
Later, I was trying to do laundry and my dryer seems to not be drying the clothes. It does heat, there doesnt seem to be any thing blocking the ventilation, so I am not sure why it's doing that. It still is working, but takes 3 times as long to dry a load. Of course, DD #1 has piles of clothes down there to wash. I do mine everyday, and try to explain to her the virtues of washing daily, but I guess she is use to doing laundry all in one day. It will take her a long time to do that mountain of clothes in my dryer though.
So, since things come in 3's, I'm wondering what is going to break today. I have to go to the store and get some groceries and then go to DD's and pack some more. It was not fun packing yesterday Ali and I don't think it's going to get any better. We did get one room done and have some of the stuff from the other rooms packed. It's a good thing we have the rest of the month to pack all this stuff up. How did I raise such a packrat? She must keep every thing.
I better get going, talk to you all later, Nikki

Hi Everyone I have been having a hard time changing my weight thingy even after I asked Nikki what to do. At one point I had 3 of them and couldn't get rid of 2 of them anyway finally did it. Sometimes I amaze myself with my stupidity It is a beautiful day here, I have spent the day running errands library etc. to get everything done for next week. Tomorrow will be housework and cleaning out the fridge. I didn't want to put my email addresses on holidays because that lets the spam people know they have reached a good address so I added the people who send everything good or bad on to my blocked addressed.Smart eh!!!! Did I tell you I got some sleeping pills from my Dr. never heard the neighbour from **** last night in fact never heard a thing from 11 till 6. I feel great. Well that's it for now will be back later

Good Afternoon,
Hey girl, you've lost some more weight Here's your favorite happy dancers to tell you way to go
So your saying that all your email is now blocked? I didn't know that about the spam people. Well, it's good to know.
Got my shopping done. DH followed me. I think the only reason he went was he wanted some new jeans and didn't want to have to pay for them out of his money. At least he wasn't trying to hurry me up and he didn't buy a lot of extras, just a few.
Well, we are going to go pack in a little bit, Oh, joy. Talk to you all later, Nikki

I only blocked the email address of the pain in the butt 3 who send about 10 jokes a day. I like jokes but some of them were awful so I know they are just hitting the sent button and forwarding them to eveyone in their address book. I forgot to tell you to run the dryer empty till the mesh is dry before adding clothes. Later

Hi All!

Lynn, your ticker has moved!!! Congratulations!! (your favorite smiley & mine!) I have a cousin who is like the 3 who e mail you 10 jokes a day. We have a hotmail acct. where we can access our regular e mail acct. whenever we're away. One day while we were on vacation, there were 13 e mails from this cousin. I just looked at them all and deleted all of them. Later, I found out that amongst those e mails I deleted, was an e mail telling me a family member had passed away. I didn't know that about spam people either.

Nikki, have you figured out what is wrong with your dryer? The place where our former neighbors live is a great place to live. They have a double wide mobile home. They have more room in their MH than we have in our house. I'm kind of wishing we looked at a place like that. There is so much going on at the park. I'd be using the pool & hot tub whenever the weather was warm. They even have their own library where you can take a book out and return it....whenever. It's really neat.

Anne, it's the weekend and I hope you enjoy it.

Catch ya later,
Ali

Good morning All Our friends in Florida that went to the same town house complex just bought one of those trailers in a park were friends from our park on Rice Lake go. In DH's mind that is the only way to go. The pool, hot tub, and all the other activities great for a social animal like him By the end of the summer I am ready to enjoy some space but we sure do have fun in the summers. He can golf as much as he wants, golfer's leave everyday for different coarses. We go for dinners, play lawn bowling have themed community dinner's go to concerts or life theatre. I am in a walking club. If we ever get a winter that we don't have to be here we will come down and buy one also. There are 5 couples in parks all about a half hour from each other from Rice lake. DH is counting the days till the park opens!!!!!!!!!! Me, I don't think I will go until the end of May. Aleka one of my emailer's is my former S-I-L's husband and she has her own account so hopefully I would hear from her or her kids if anything went wrong and the other 2 are from Rice lake so I should hear from the rest of the gang if something went wrong. Also you can tell before you open a email if it is something forwarded. Well most get going, today is house work and tomorrow is packing and laundry. We or I should say DH is staying with our DS to cut down on his driving. I want this place perfect so when we get back nothing to do but dust. Later
