Default Monday Jan. 26

Wakey Wakey Everyone, I know it's monday but it's not that bad, crawl out from under the covers . Weekend went great over here, overcame a huge craving last night which was no doubt due to too much diet pepsi the night before (but no rye found it's way into it so small victory there.) All good now though, I find the week days so much easier anyway, glad to be back into the routine. Hope everyone's doing well and had a relaxing weekend.

Morning,
Nope the American's are up too
Dropped the kids at school and then had tea with a friend. I will get my WO in later while I watch TV tonight.

I am off to get a bday present for my older boy. He turns 10 on Wednesday! I have no idea where the time went, how 10 years of my life have passed so quickly... I know you more experiance chicks and hens are saying "10 years is that it" I lost a lot more years than that!"

Ok enough complainng, I have to go get dressed and move on with my day...

Hehe my oldest son turning 10 was a HUGE deal for me

I am one of those moms that use the candles that are numbers instead of the little ones that you put one on for each year (less wax on the cake ) and while I was shopping for the candles for the 10, I broke down and cried in the store.

Of course I helped mysefl to a Suzie-Q and a Pepsi to make myself feel better

Glad those days are over

Good Morning Ladies

L~ I cant help think about how old Im going to be when my daughter turns 10 But I know what you mean....I keep looking at her and thinking.....wow its been 7 yrs already! (it shows in my wrinkles!!)

Im still painting away at the store....I have all the moose painted on the upper wall on one side. Only have 1/2 of them left for their second coat. Hopefully today, we will get the other 1/2 of the store at least 1st coated. Then we will put 1/2 the store back together confused yet? Well, its all good.......its always quiet in January so we arent too worried about being open on time. We have had ppl coming in anyway to check out what we are doing...so if they want anything bad enough, they will ask.

Time to make lunches and breakkie........have a great day everyone

Geez! My DD turned 38 in December. How old do you think that makes me feel!
Hey, IamRox! Waving down the 401 at you! Maybe we can meet for coffee sometime. I'm a half hour north of Brockville.
Been too darn busy lately with rehearsals for The Vagina Monologues and the big push starts today with rehearsals every darn night! Please pray that there is not a big storm as I have a half hour drive in the dark each way.
Have to go. It's Gail day and there are a few things for me to do.

Good afternoon girls

A little tired today but I am babysitting so I have to pull up my socks. The wee fella, Devon, is having his nap now so I get a few minutes to sit and be on the computer.

Got a wee touch of morning sickness but hey, not complaining, I'll take it! Went to the doc this morning to get my confirmation blood test and will have the results tomorrow (for the doctor to be convinced, not for me )

Glad to see you guys again and hello to the newbies

Hi Chicklets. Lots of signs of spring here. Snowdrops, heather and pink viburnum are in bloom. Can crocuses and daffies be far behind? Oh well, we need some color here to make up for the endless gray, rainy, days.

Still no change on the scale this morning. How many weeks is that I've hung around 270-274 up and down, up and down? Doing everything right except not getting enough exercise and probably not the optimum amount of water. I guess I'll have to change my ways.

Nice to see some new faces. Welcome, new Chicks. Hope you find inspiration and support here. I sure do.

Hi chickies..... I'm a late poster today........ took too long waking up this morning, and so had to scramble to get out of the house to work on time! However, I am now home, (and fed by dh as soon as walked in the door!!!! - love that man....... er, today, that is!! )

We are due for another storm tomorrow or so, they're talking (so far, altho they admit they're not sure yet) 12-18"....... so glad my new shearling chukka boots from Lands End came today!!

L - don't feel bad about your ds turning 10.... today my dd is 33!!!! I can't believe that I have a child that old..........how did this happen? who substituted my teenager for a grown woman?????? of course, she is the mother of my 3 terrific grandbabies, so I guess she grew up sometime!! I just don't know when it happened.

LindaBC, please stop killing me with talk of crocuses, spring, etc etc etc - I am being tortured here by the weatherpeople!!! I HATE WINTER!!!!!!!!!!

Ruthie, I'm sending you lots of strength and good driving weather for your "**** Week"..... I know you can do it - break a leg!!

Robin, you've totally confused me, but that's ok - it's a fairly normal state for me!!

Welcome all you new chickies.... I look forward to meeting you!
Have a great night..........
