Good morning.

Congrats on the newbie, Taz. It must be the week for it. Our In-school suspension aide just left for the day to be with her daughter. They're inducing labor today. The wheel of life does keep turning, doesn't it?

I was happy to see a 3 pound loss this week. I have 6 pounds to go to reach my Great Pumpkin Challenge goal of under 300. I am definitely seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't say it enough, but thanks to everyone here for their unconditional support. It means the world to me. You are my life line on the low days and my cheering section on the good days.

Have a great one!

Karla

good afternoon tazcat, tippurr, and all who check in later. i've finally dropped 2 lbs. this puts me at 190, which is what i weighed when i got pregnant 5 years ago. i delivered at 219. since then, my weight has fluctuated between 190 and 220. i'm expecting a stall here... just as the metamucil started kicking in.

Good Morning

Karla~ WTG!! congratulations on your loss!!

FullFig~ Your going great, keep at it and before you know it you'll be under 190!

Expecting some very nice weather here the next couple days. So hopefully I'll be able to get into my front garden beds and clean them out and plant my daffies. I want to stop at home depot and pick up some tulips too (my favourite flower)

Have a great day everyone, and if the sun is shining on you today, take it all in!!

No loss but I have started walking. I just hate to exercise so this is a big step for me.

Congrats to you losers! I hope to be among you next week.

Thumbs down 'noon chickadees!

Just a quick fly through to say hi!

Day two of Body Flex down. I sure hope this works. I felt some pulling this morning so hope I got the breathing and tummy roll going right. Someone on the exercise thread said she had lost 20.5 inches doing BF in her first month!

to all - got to run but will try to get back later!

Have a beautiful day!

I've been doing Body Flex for nearly a month and have lost ZERO inches because what I may have lost in one area, I've gained in another in new muscles. but for some reason my clothes are feeling a bit looser and I certainly feel firmer where I didn't even know I had muscles. It is also very energizing so I still consider it well worth doing. I especially enjoy the exercises using the gym bar. I think resistance training is the way to go for me.

Good for you, Karla. You are gonna make that goal. I doubt if I will but I've done pretty good the past couple of weeks. Still 3 weeks to go on the challenge.

Supersize, I'm so proud of you for starting to walk. That's something I haven't been able to talk myself into yet but I'll get there eventually.

Taz, congrats on the new baby in the family. Just three weeks until our new grandchild arrives. I'm so excited I can hardly wait. I think our daughter just wants it over with. LOL Sure wish I could be in Scotland with her.

Hey Fullfig. Great news on the weight loss and glad to hear the Metamucil is finally doing its job.

Robin, I should be out in the garden too but it's very wet after heavy rain overnight. Lots of weeding and mulching still to be done. Luckily, we rarely get a hard frost before late November here but I don't like working in the wet.

linda--i think i had asked you on gpc week 6 thread if you were still doing bodyflex. just call me rum dumb, i guess i'm just too tired to think. it is 11:15 pm here. i did bodyflex this morning and then the one mile walk-away-the-pounds video. i have not found my bf tape, am just using the book right now. i don't have the new set with the gym bar though. my chest and tummy are sore right now. hopefully, that means my effort was not in vain and that i did it correctly. supersized will start bf too, as soon as she finds her tape. she is the one that talked me into trying it a few years ago. neither of us lasted beyoned a week, if even quite that. walking is really my favorite exercise. i love leslie sansone's tapes. you really get more of a workout than just walking outside. i'd better get off for now. good luck. here they say "yavash, yavash"--slowly, slowly--we will eventually get to where we want to be.

I hope you're all having a great day, I'm off to stop the brownie's in the kitchen from calling my name. Boiled egg, anyone?
