Default Sunday's Low Carb Daily - Sept. 7

Good late Sunday morning everyone!

I hope you are all either at Church or outside enjoying this lovely nearly-Fall day. You can see some hints of the colour to come on the trees around here and the wild asters are blooming. Any signs of fall at your place?

Have a great OP Sunday!

Good Sunday Morning everyone

Very late start this morning, but it was so nice to lounge in bed, then get up and drink coffee over the morning paper

Ruth, not much change around here just yet. The weather has been so nice, warm during the day, and definitely cooler at night. Other than that, no tint colour in the leaves just yet.

Not much else to report, had a pretty good day at the store yesterday. We had an artist spend a couple hours with us to feature her work. She had a few nibbles, and hopefully they will turn out to some nice sales for her.

Have a great day everyone, Im starting a new eating and exercise plan tomorrow...so I have to get my weight room tidied, and some groceries bought. I think I may sneak in a Krispy Kreme today some time before the real work starts tomorrow.

Robin

Yesterday I watched the introductory video that came with my Body Flex stuff. It was hilarious. The breathing exercises alone are good for a week of laughter. I was going to start the program this morning but having a longer snooze was more appealing than watching this gorgeous blond babe expanding her chest. Tomorrow will be my morning swim but I'm making a vow here and now to do the Body Flex every morning that I don't go to the pool. They want you to do it on an empty stomach. Not sure how that will work out but I'll give it a try. I'd sure like to know if anybody else is using this system and if it's done them any good.
A few signs of fall around here mainly due to the long, hot and VERY dry spell we've had. Trees that don't normally change color until October are dropping their leaves already. It's been very stressful for all the plants. We did get a light sprinkling last night and it's still cloudy today so I have hopes for a good soaking rain, but they need it especially in the interior where the forest fires still rage.
I'm ticked off. I went to the Land's End site advertised here and created my virtual model using my true measurements and weight. She was actually pretty darned cute, but when I tried to use her for trying on clothes they tell me they can only fit up to size 18 on them. That sucks. What's the use of having a virtual model if you can't have it try on clothes? They give me the option of altering my model but if I did that, then it wouldn't be virtual, now would it? Guess I'll just have to alter the original.
I went to get a few groceries this morning and I saw in the store flyer that they now have Atkins pancake and muffin mixes but MAN OH MAN, are they ever expensive! Over $6 for a little pouch. Anyhow, I bought a package of plain pancake mix and I'll give them a try tomorrow. Anything for a change from bacon and eggs. The muffins seem to be a bit too high in carbs for me.
