Red face I screwed up!!!

Well, I'm currently on the Atkins diet, I've been on Induction since the end of July and have lost 14 lbs. I have a lot more to go, but I'm happy with it since I'm on the Depo shot and everyone told me I would GAIN weight! Anyway, I'm starting the South Beach Diet soon (just to see if that might work better for me) but in the meantime, I'm sticking to Induction. Someone recommended charting your foods at FitDay, and I did that. I was shocked to find that I have consumed 2900 calories today! (under 20 carbs, but WOW!) It's those darn protein bars. My dad gave me the recipe and I'm totally addicted to them. I have like 12 left in my fridge and I can't bear to throw them away, but they're killing me! Not only that, but I've stalled since I've been eating them. I guess all that butter and peanut butter adds up quick. *ACK*!!!!!

Yes I know what you mean about the calories! I know that calories are supposed to be of less importance than carbs, but the former still figure greatly in the equation. I really do have to watch the numbers...

Harmony you've still lost 14 lbs, that's fantastic in it's own right, how about giving the bars to someone else? Then there's no waste and you can feel about about the calories. Good luck, yummy peanut butter....

I'm having the same problem with home made Peanut Butter Cups. The darned things are so blasted GOOD! Even though I'm still within my carb and calorie range, I think they are causing me to stall. I don't know how that can be but it sure doesn't take much to cause a stall with me.
