  • Happy Hump Day, Chickies.

Lovely clear sunrise this morning with a hot day on it's way. The AC will be going full blast today. It works fine, in fact it was cold in here yesterday afternoon so I turned it off and opened windows for the night.

Hershey and I are going for our walk very shortly - AFTER breakfast and coffee. She does like coffee but I am not offering it to her this morning. But help yourselves! I'll cook extra peameal bacon but you are on your own for eggs.

    Catch you later.
  • Good morning,
We leave tomorrow for Alaska and I can't wait! The kids are getting to me. I need a little space. DH will be home this am, I am going to do a few errands and a movie is in my morning. I am almost packed, bathroom stuff, electronic things like the battery charger for the camera and some jewelry and a few zips and I am good to go.

KFS e mailed me from paradise, she is happy and healthy, but most of all sticking to plan, so good for her!

A little golf this afternoon. I don't like the woman who runs the evening group on wed. She is mean and cold but most of all she is just plane old not nice.

Thanks for the coffee Ruth, enjoy your walk. I will see you all in about 2 weeks!

  • Morning Everyone!! I sound like a broken record here, but it's hot, muggy and no rain so the water bill is increasing again today while I run the sprinklers. I think it is supposed to rain on the 4th of Jully -- (of course) DS is leaving for basketball in a few minutes and then a game tonight up in the Big City at 8:00. They lost their tournament game last night in another league--so we are at least done with that one. This weekend we head to Jacksonville for an all weekend tournament. Another sleepless night of teenage boys in a hotel! Did pretty well OP plan wise yesterday--I can't say that I am not suffering cravings on this SB thing, but I guess that's a good thing.

If anyone is interested I took my measurements for my first week of Body Flex: Not tremendous, but also not bad for 18 minutes of exercise--most of which is breathing and sitting in a chair.
    Here they are:

    Neck: 1/2 inch
    Upper Arm: 1/2 x 2 = 1 inch
    Chest: 1/2 inch
    Bust: 1 1/2 inches
    Waist: 1/2 inch
    Lower Abs: 1/2 inch
    Hips: 1/2 inch
    Thighs: 3/4 inch x 2 = 1 1/2 inches
    Knees/Calves/Ankles--no loss

If I did my math right I think this a total of 6 1/2 inches in one week. Which does make the commercial claim true I guess.
Anyway, just thought I would let you guys know.

Okay, that's it for me--Have a good day everyone!!! Stay cool!

Peach--good luck with that football camp and laundry--they aren't wearing pads and helmets are they?
  • Hi folks,
My ketostick was pink, yeah. It has been about a week.
I'm getting ready to go to New England for a family reunion/run around and visit relatives week--Vermont, NH, Mass, and RI.
Hmmmmmm Will I just eat the meatballs? How much spaghetti will I put on my plate? Time will tell.
  • Viola,
The weather here is just perfect! The bigger question is " are lobsters on plan" tis the season. you can get them cheep at any local fish market, they even cook them for you for an extra buck!

    Have a great trip!

Annie, great job on your inches lost!!

MIL is still here visiting, and Im still off plan!! I think I may dip into the wine tonight. Wine makes loose lips, hopefully she will fall asleep before she says anything offensive (again)

Not much else to report, I hope everyone is doing well
