I'll be very quiet since the sun isn't even up.

Today will be another scorcher so I'm up early to get some gardening done as soon as it's bright out there. The skeeters will be bad but I'll slather on the DEET.

Hersh got her haircut yesterday and looks chic and cool. I did a lot of roadrunning delivering tickets and will be doing more this today picking up schoolwork for the Fair. Friend Rob is doing half the pick-ups so it should be done by noon. Then it will be cold drinks (water) on the chaise under the pine tree with a book!

Once again our AC is not blowing cold air. Grrrrr! The guy will be here Friday - so he said! Time means nothing in the country. I've got a big fan in the bedroom which makes sleeping possible and we either BBQ or we won't eat. The local grocery is starting take-out chicken tomorrow so we may cluck by the weekend.

Hot hot hot today! Kids have golf lesson, i will use the gym. Out for coffee and then we hit the pool. I am going to play 9 holes tonight.

Ruth, its Wed. Your schedule is going to be shot for the whole week.

I finished my first week of induction and lost 8 lbs. I was VERY happy with that and so cheated a little by drinking some diet ginger ale and having a small piece of watermelon for 2 days. Have not lost anything since, so I guess I will have to go back to the stricter rules.

We have completely cleaning out the greenhouse and now I can hang around in my housecoat this morning and not have to worry about customers coming in. It is a wonderful feeling. We have been working 7 days a week for 2 months.
Now I can even go shopping. But today we are going to visit my son and his family, take a truck load of plants to them, stay overnight, and get up to date on my GD's activities .

OMG! You are right, Lorraine! Somehow I really thought it was Thuirsday! Duh! I am doing my Wednesday task but poor Harry skipped breakfast on my orders because he thought he had a fasting blood test today! He also has the stuff organized in his car for the dump run - which is also tomorrow.
Now.... did I gain a day or lose a day? Now I'll figure out how to change it. Sheesh!

Fixed! Hitting self on head and trying ahrd to remember it's Wednesday and it is NOT Christmas although it is the 25th and we have a Christmas tree in the Fair Hall!

Ruth, I KNOW it's going to be smoking hot here--weatherman says for the next 2 weeks! Summer's here....

Going to take M to my gran's house today and I'm in the midst of finishing up the last dregs of laundry so I can pack it away. She's going for 10 funfilled days and she's chomping at the bit to go.

As for me, well, I had to cancel going to my bro's to help him move since it seems wit the hotter weather we've been having my meds need to stay at a higher level. The last couple of days have been rough on the lower dosage so I'm going to double up for a while and then go and see the doc. Oh well, I tried...

Hot day on the Gulf Coast. The heat index is over 100.

My first day back on induction I lost 1.5lbs. Bad news is that I still need to lose 1.5lbs more to weigh less than DH. Silly man has lost most of this weight (+30lbs) by switching to LC Beer and LC bread. I wish it was that easy for me.

Morning Everyone!! Looks like the hot weather is universal!! We had a heat index of 107 yesterday and it's supposed to do the same today. DS looked like a boiled lobster when he got back from football last night. He is at basketball this a.m. and then has a game up in the construction H*** zone at 8:00 tonight. I did my day 2 of Body Flex today. I don't feel anything in the legs, but the arms and abs feel like they are getting worked out. I'm leaving in a few minutes to go and help out with the Summer Reading Program, then errand running and straightening up around here. I am still not sleeping and would love a nap this afternoon--guess we will see--it doesn't usually work out.

Linda, I sure hope your daughter turns out okay. I developed that gestational diabetes very late in my pregnancy with DS. I bet she will be glad to get those clothes you sent her.

Wish I had time to talk to everyone today, but I have get my butt out of here--will try to check in again later. Hope the antibiotics kick in full time for the sick ones--feel better soon!!
