My daughter actually slept in this morning!!! She was up til 1130 watching the fireworks. We had a great time!

Mmmm...had sushi last night anf sweted like no tomorrow! Today promises to be a hot one so we are heading to the beach!

Late check-in for me. I snuck out of the Coop very early to drive to Brockville for 6:30 to sign some papers for a police check. Everyone who has a thera-paws pooch needs to go through this. It doesn't matter that I have Top Secret Government of Canada clearance and the RCMP has my prints on file - they still go through the whole thing. (Gee, I sure hope they don't find out about my soliciting and drug pushing charges.)

The rest of the morning was spent at the Church. I had the pelasure of continuing to heat strip the old doors since I "did such a great job" on the first one. That'll larn me! It is 90F out there now so we quit at 12:30. Mad dogs and Anglicans go out in the noonday sun. Thanks, Noel! Doctor Bob brought bagels, light cream cheese and smoked salmon for a sort of brunch and made me smoked salmon and cream cheese roll ups. What a thoughtful guy!

This afternon will be spent in the cool of my house. I will probably label some of the kids school entries for the Fair. One little girl did a brochure for an ice cream parlour called Whips. Her brochure says: We dip and you lick!" She also lists flavours like mustard, onion and dirt! The kid is gonna go places! Too funny!

Lazy day.

When we got home from our trip we discovered out freezer was out and all our frozen food melted. The good news is that it was still under warranty. The repairman came out today and fixed it, and he got here by 9:00. We were barely up.

After he left we plopped a DVD in the machine and watched Catch Me if you Can. Pretty cute.

Trying out a new dish for lunch. It's "roasted veggie chili" I roasted the veggies in the oven beore I added it to the tomatoes and seasoning. You can also add beans, but I didn't this time. I'll report on how it tastes after we eat it. It smells great.

Ready to regroup and start getting serious again first thing Monday morning.

Still here and soooooooo thankful that I only have one child. Her little friend slept over at my house last night. They got here at noon, and she just left. Whew!! One six year old at a time, please!

Can't hear again. Just finished my 2nd course of antibiotics on Tuesday, started noticing the hearing loss on Thursday. What is up? Really getting concerned as both mom and dad had problems with their hearing.

Staying wonderfully OP? Well, if you count alcoholic beverages and fruit juice and buns and fries. The burger counts as OP, right? Still noticing the loosening of the pants, why can't the bra follow the same path? I thought they were the first to go?????

Ruth onion flavored icecream?? sounds like Harry Potters Bernie Bott's any flavor beans. they actually taste like grass dirt nblack peper and they have vomit, boogers and a few others I wouod not taste but DS1 did UGH!!! But you are right that kid does have a grewat imagination I love the motto!!

Well not totally OP today but not to far off well I guess I am!1 I will not mention th ecake I ate today I just finished it and forgot all about it. now how smart is that. i guess it was not that good to remember!! (sherry your OP and mine are sounding too much alike!!!)
