Angry Just begining Atkins Diet.....and newbie here also

Hi, my name is Kati, and I have started the Atkins diet, only day 3, and I refuse to weight myself until 2 weeks is up. But I wondered...did anyone feel like they had an upset stomach the first few days of the Induction? And tired...wow...but I don't feel bloated at all, nor am I hungery either. If anyone has any suggestions, I would definetly love to hear them
I have been lurking on the board for a few days now...and this place is great, very motivating.

Thanks for any help
Kati

Hi Kati......Welcome to the coop!!

I didnt get an upset stomach, but I did have the head aches and all round feeling crappy for 3 or 4 days after I started induction. It goes away....you body is getting rid of the toxins. Yes tired too.....but that goes away too, and bursts of energy arrive in its place.

Glad you joined us

Robin

hey there, kati!!! WELCOME ABOARD! i have no words of wisdom for you, except hang in there. low carb works for lots of people, but not for everyone. there's lots of good information around here, so be sure to ask questions..

sorry you're not feeling great, but as robin [one of my idols!] said, this should pass...
