Morning, starting us up. Today is another busy one, work, then fun night with Aux..
Had a day from heck at work yesterday, but ended it nicely with grandsons, and a bike ride. The weather was wonderful and I hope today 's weather is as nice.

Love and hope that today is wonderful large slice kind of day,

We were up at the same time, Taz, but I could not get on to post. Lucy was hollering "I need to pee" so I kind of dove into my day. However, it looks like a nice one here - cloudy but temps around 17C.

I frittered away yesterday afternoon on the PC when I should have been outdoors raking. My get up and go kind of got up and went! I did take my Girls to the vet for boosters and heartworm blood tests. Hershey is down a pound and Lucy is down 2 to 40.5. H. is the one on a diet - go figure. They behaved beautifully at the vet - no whimpering or whining. Hershey actually held up her paw for Leslie to shave for the blood tests. My dogs are a daily joy.

This morning I am back at the greenhouse after being away for nearly two weeks. Things should be booming and blooming. I must take the camera soon and share some of that part of my life with you chicks. Somehow I think I should have just been a gardener and dog person instead of all the other crap I got into!

Shower and into greenhouse clothes - it will be warm in there this morning if the sun comes out.

Have a glorious Tuesday and seize the day.

Good Morning Ladies

Pooky just for you!!! Congratulations, I know how wonderful you feel!! Your beautiful !!!!!

What a wonderful day yesterday!!! Lots of walking in, huge shipment at the store arrived, and got my hair cut. Then hubby came home, we took the truck to get washed, went for coffee, then a walk together, and off to the mall furthest away to pick up a new dish drain!! I then came home, washed dishes and did some laundry......when I finally fell into bed, I went right to sleep and stayed that way until 730 this morn Im a happy camper today!! These bursts of energy can be very irritating at times when it interupts my sleep!!!

Today, hubby is out on a job site again, so Im alone at the store. Should be fun though, Im expecting one more big shipment, and I have alot of americana stuff to put in the windows. I found a wonderful supplier that has great prices, so everything is really cheap and really nice quality. Im stunned at times what these ppl want for wholesale prices!! I wouldnt pay that retail, and they want me to sell it for more??? I swear some of them are nuts!

Ok, let me give you an example......its a lamp, made out of a piece of log for the base, faux cow hide shade and a small round piece of wood for the lamp to sit on. All the bases of the lamps have a piece of fabric wrapped around the log. So you dont really know its log. Retail starting at $149.00!!!! And Im suppose to try to sell this???? Its a log for kripes sakes!! I remember making these in shop class in highschool.. and no, they arent worth 149, maybe $35. Ok, Im done ranting about that!

Anyway, Im off to get ready for work........have a great day everyone!!

Robin

Good afternoon everyone!

Went to the Easter party at the drop-in center this morning and I only had some celery, cauliflower, cheese and a few sausage roll bites and that's it. I was very proud of myself The kids had a blast and that's always good

Robin, thanks for the kudos, I really do feel good and received quite a few compliments today Let's hope this is the beginning of the next 50 pounds gone!

Found out some great news last night: my SIL had her ultrasound and she found out she is having a little boy! I knew she was going to have another boy, just from the way he was conceived. She was artificially inseminated with my brother's sperm and the combination of drugs and the procedure made it extremely likely she was going to have a boy. I am so thrilled for her and my brother since this may very well be their last baby (although I don't know since they might try for a girl!)

Very busy this afternoon, lots of laundry and cleaning and the weather is going to be 37 degrees today!

Enjoy the greenhouse Ruth!

Rachel sounds like you got a case of the spring fever!

Jiff, I am sure the cocolate won't do a thing, just enjoy

Taz, have a great day!

Yeah went ot water aerobics this morning and boy did it feel good. I was really tired when the hour was up thought>

Alvin played oin a golf tournament yesterday and they had a silent auction. I bid on a few things, but the only one I got was: Are you ready for this????

A Homemade Dessert a Week for a YEAR!!!! Just what we really need!! Home made by one of the gym instructors mother!!! I'll let you know how they turn out. By this time next year, I may never want dessert again!!! Right!!!

Anyway it was fun.
