Thanks guys, I really did need to get that out (coupled with a phonecall from my good friend). Linda, the board I am sitting on is the organization that runs my daughter's daycare. I also want to go into the childcare industry so this matter really slams close to home. I moved my daughter out of this daycare last Friday and into a preschool with a different organization because I couldn't trust that the one member of the management team who runs the daycare could be counted on to be objective when it came to my daughter. On two levels I was in a rock and a hard place. By removing my daughter, this was the last obstacle. And I have already thought of partnering with the MD to see if she wouldn't mind helping me set up my business. After all, she's got time on her hands...:(
