Default Weekend's Here...3/29&30

Good grey morning chickies........ Another early rising today (or rather, not much sleeping ) today....... gonna be a fairly busy one... chiro appointment at 8:30, clients for taxes from 11 to whenever..... DEFINITELY gonna get some me time in there tho...

Barb..... loved your Friday funny... I always say I am a "long"....
Sherrie.... many many hugs to you...... guys are such SHs so often... especially after they go and "commit" - they suddenly develop a severe case of "testosterone brain" or some such... should we quick send Ruthie in her metal bra down there before she leaves on vacation? She could either poke him full of holes or else scare him to death (of course, the rest of us would be right there too, "eggng" her on....... )
Ruth.... so glad that you caught Harry's stuff early - enjoy your vacation and visits w/Linda and MEW, get yourself recharged... and then worry about dealing with it all...... my MIL has been having those removed for at least 20 years, if not longer (and btw, she is a woman who has never exposed herself to the sun's rays......

to all newbies to our little coop...... welcome welcome welcome - so glad you could join us....

to everyone else (and I know I've missed most of you) .... have a great day and weekend - I gotta go get my coffee!!

oops: special hugs and get well thoughts going out to Janice and Barb.........

Good Rainy Saturday Morning!

Would you believe I just had shrimp for breakfast? The jumbo kind! Nummy!

I am way behind on reading posts and welcoming new folks and returning folks. Just wanted to say to jump right in and ask questions, join the daily and start new threads on any subject. This is a great spot for all kinds of support and we have fun too.

Well, yesterday I resisted the Chinese Buffet when I shopped for trip stuff! I swear I must have been oriental in a previous incarnation. Actually I think it all started when I had my first egg roll in the early fifties and never looked back! Tripe and chicken feet are the only things I won't eat. I'll even eat tofu if its cooked Chinese!

Sherrie, don't you fret over that SHBF - men never change and you are probably well out of the relationship. I feel for you and your DD but ....

Janice and ageoldie, healing vibes going to you both. Glad the knee operation was not as serious as expeted. Janice, why do we think there is something you are not telling us? Spill!

Puppies! Mis, they really are just little babies. My Libby slept in her box beside my bed for the first week or so. She would whimper and I'd reach down and give her a little pat to settle her down. Doesn't that sound like a baby? At least I wasn't breast feeding.

Well, this morning is my soak in the tub with The New Yorker morning! I'm going to stop using that Vanilla Bubble Bath because it makes me think of food. Talk about cues! Lavender this morning for relaxation. The only other thing on the agenda is laundry, sewing and maybe take Hersh to the vet for weigh-in.

If it's still raining this afternoon, I will assemble my new garden tool caddy thingie. I love new garden toys and this year I will be able to work in the garden instead of bemoaning its fate and *****ing about my sore arm and shoulder!

I'm babbling. Catch you later.

Hey there! Ruth!

I am off to find out what is going on with Barb and Janice.

Good Morning everyone!

I realize I am probably crazy, but I removed M from her daycare yesterday and on Monday she will be starting a preschool for the remainder of the school year. In the summer she's going to camp so that should be a lot of fun for her before school and her halmonee (grandmother) and hallabogee (grandfather) arrive. Too many reasons to get into why the change was needed, let's just say my anxiety levels have gone down and her happiness levels have gone up! We visited the school Friday afternoon and she just loved it. I know this is going to be a wonderful thing for her!

Today is all about cleaning the garage out. I can't even described the mess in there, far too much for words. This will definitely take most of the day. Dh has to go fix someone's computer first but he'll only be gone an hour and when he gets back then the fun begins--NOT!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Gee, Taz - let's remember that St Paul was MALE! Maybe Sherrie will follow his recommendation later. I love your quotations and copy and save lots of them.

Well, I was attacked by a brand new huge box of fresh Easter ju-jubes yesterday. Betty at the market was packaging them, she gave me a sample and I bought a half pound. I did give one to Hershey but.... They weren't even that good. Maybe it was the pink, mauve and yellow colours that made me force myself to finish them - so girlie!

By the way, Hershey has not lost one darn ounce since her last weigh-in! She's on diet dogfood and no treats. I should get her to register in here and start a journal.

Mount Laundry continues to grow, I have not hit the sewingroom for pre-trip stuff, my perm is waaaayyy too curly, my weight is up again, the yard is still wet BUT I don't care! It's Spring!

I uncovered my day lilies near the back deck - all kinds of sproutage there! Today I will rake the hill under the pine tree so the Girls have a clean place to loaf. Harry let them in with muddy feet yesterday morning and I need to wash the kitchen floor - again! Gail would freak if she saw it now.

My good thing for ME today will be to put together my garden tool caddy.

For now, tackle this mop of hair and get ready for Church.

Have a glorious Sunday.

Happy SUnday to all!!

I missed Saturday - we had soccer and it rained and was cold - DS's team and the team they played were the only ones not to cancel. A bit ridiculous for 5 and 6 yr olds to play in 40 degree rainy weather if you ask me.....

SHerrie - I am so sorry!!!

Well not much planned for today - another gray day so maybe after church - clean up the house and loaf a little!!!

Take care ladies!!

Hi chickies,
Have fun Ruth, I know how much you missed your garden last year.

Breakfast with kids and families this morning, then I go on a MAJOR return spree. I have bought a TON of dresses trying to find something th wear to my brother's wedding in May in Colorodo. I bought a BEUATIFUL tahari prick suit, short skirt long jacket. I really did not want to wear black. it has gone to the taylor for fitting and a change of buttons. I need to look for shoes today or whenever, but I feel so much bette it is done. So Lord and taylor, talbots and frugal fannies is where I will be today.

Have a great Sunday ladies.

OH and I love the driveby thread, comon chickies, fess up, i love the smiles they give me.

Now Ruth darling, that message was for Sherrie to be good to her not to him. Know What I am saying. As for DBF she has the right to feel as she wants. I know that things will work out the way they should. I just don't want her to beat herself up over it. We love her. My wish for Sherrie and all of us is:

That each day
of the coming new season
open all the right
doors for us.

Today starting induction again. And as of tomorrow I am giving up coffee. No not, I will cut down, yea .Did you read that by quiting coffee you can loose 10 pounds in six weeks?

Well all for now,
Love Tazcat

I had a little, popcorn, reeses, and twizlers. Oh I forgot the soda. Then I want to BK for dinner. I could have made that not so bad, but didn't , got a ch shake and ff and chick sand (the big breaded one) But I'm back on track today.

Hope everyone else has a great day today.

Good Morning Ladies

Taz, I read that too.....but I tried giving up coffee, and its just to hard. I did it about 3 yrs ago when I did protein power, and I drank the green tea, but....hubby introducted me to starbucks coffee when we met, and we have our morning ritual every morning [we drink it out of a coffee press] strong and very leaded. I just dont think I can give it up.....more likely I dont "want" to give it up. But I do drink the 1/2 & 1/2 stuff when hubby is on a job site, and Im at the store alone. Oh well

Starbucks in a little while, then we are off to an outlet mall to see what we can find as far as summer clothing goes. We found a great store last weekend called J.Jill. They had some beautiful linen clothing. I love linen for the summer!! So if we dont find anything at the outlet place we will head back to J.Jill next weekend, and do some shopping.

Im feeling better today, I think my hormones are starting to settle a bit. I dont feel nearly as crabby as I have been the last 2 days. My water retention is off the charts. I actually woke up this am with pains in my boobs So I got up and took a couple motrin and went back to bed. I think I'll stop into a drug store and see if I can find an over the counter water pill. This is just crazy. Even my rings which I can usually just fling off my fingers, wont even budge!

Ok, Im done grumbling!

Have a great relaxing day everybody!!
