Happy Feast of Saint Patrick to us all!

I'm up late and need to scurry around as the guys are coming with the new woodstove and hearth this morning!

We had wonderful snow melt yesterday! You could hear it melting and trickling down the lane. Lucy and I drove to class with a car window open - it sure felt and smelled good! The robins are back so this must be IT!

Be back later once I get Life cranked up around here.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

Hi everybody.....boy there sure is alot to catch up on when you havent been here in a while.

My trip was wonderful, my dd and I spent most of our time in the pool. We did a bit of shopping and visited a gf Ive known since we were in kindergarten It was great seeing her!

Ive missed my starbucks coffee!! I had timmy's all week, which isnt bad, but have they changed their donuts???? I dont think Ive ever chewed so much in my life. I only ate 1/4 of it!! Back OP today, I gave myself another days grace after my holiday. I picked up some picards peanuts and just had to finish them off!! They dont last in the cupboard very long oh, and the chocolates I got for my birthday, I'll toss the rest of them today.

Sherrie, congratulations on your rock!!! Way to go gf!!

Have a great day Ladies

I am back from vacation and am more tired than when I left! The cottage was beautiful and it was sunny and almost warm. I went off plan as I suspected that I would but was happy to find that my weight didn't go up over the weekend. We spent one day walking around antique shops-that must have worked off all the M&Ms!!!
Busy week here as I begin Spring Clean 2003. We have so much junk. I am sure someone will feel is treasure. I have to quietly go through hubby's closet as I am sure there are shirts in there that have not seen the light of day since last years clean. Also time to replace all my broken stuff that I keep in a to-do box. I really do feel that I will get arounnd to putting handles on coffee cups and replacing glass in old picture frames. I never do though.
Have a happy St. Pats day. I will not be sampling any green beer this year...maybe green ham and eggs though!!!

I'm loving these new avatars! This one looks like me, boobs and all, in a hurry to get somewhere. Never exercising, not ME! Hope you're all having a great day, it's a typical Monday for me. Hope to relax a little this afternoon and catch up with you later!

Where are the new avatars coming from? Very cute.
Well, I bit the bullet and started back on Atkins Induction today. I was just getting so dragged out and disgusted with myself over some of the junk that was hopping into my mouth. Scared to get on the scale and just hating myself. Time to try low carb again but I'm also going to keep track of points. I just wont eat all the fruit and breads and WW allows. Meat, eggs and salad for me.

Very springlike here too. All my daffies are in bloom (they'll probably be finished by the time Ruth arrives) and I have grape hyacinthes in bloom too. The neighbour's japanese cherry trees are a haze of pink. Very pretty. Mine bloom later. Our lawn needs mowing badly but it's still too soggy out there. Maybe next week if the rain holds off a bit. Not likely that will happen though.

Good afternoon to all!!!

Congrats on the rock Sherrie!!!!!

I am still at work - I have a porkloin in the crockpot! No corn beef here either - I forgot it was St Pat's shame on me!!!!!!

Work is crazy as usual but - I am happy to have a job!

Say a prayer for one of my employee's 27 year old daughter - she has been diagnosed with Cervical cancer - her husband died a few years back and she is the single mother of 5 yr old!!!

Happy day and god bless you all my friends!!!

Sue, that's a great feeling to get money back, huh? That's how I got my nice (used) car. Speaking of lawn, it's already mowing season at the cemetery, we have already had our bradford pear trees bloom and gone, now they're green. The grass is knee-high in my yard, but it's going to rain all week, so it's going to be neck-high by the time it gets cut.

Linda, wishing you luck on the induction again. You are STRONG and you CAN do it! (Hey, I'll take all your pasta off your hands that's my newest cheat! On second thought, pass it to your WW friends )

Hope you're all having a great day, mine sucked so bad I snuck out of work 30 minutes early. Everything hits at once, you know, 300 phone calls and customers in your face and counselors with questions and needing paperwork NOW. Ugh! Off to burn, I mean, cook dinner. Talk to you later!
