Congrats Robin and Jif!!!!!:cb: :bravo: I am back on Atkins...since Christmas I have done Sugarbuster, WW and some other crazy thing. I have gained and lost 9 lbs. and gained it back...so no more nonsense, I am back to locarb- it has been 3 days and I feel better already, I got some supplements, vitamins, oils minerals etc, I am hoping that will help!!! :p Sunday is my 10 year anniversary - DH sent me gorgeous roses today -and we are going to a very fancy restaurant for dinner tommorrow night - right after DS tests for his Senior Green belt in TaeKwonDo!!! I have been doing PRISM weight loss program, which is a low carb program, basically sort of getting rid of all that wonderful-bloast-causing-white flour and sugar!!!1:p (BTW ~ I LOVE these smilies.....so cute!) Just a bit about myself, if ya don't mind? I am a SAHM of 4, baby is just 7 months, I have a 8 year old, 6 year old, 4 year old, and of course the baby. I also homeschool, which doesn't leave me alot of time. So please forgive me if I don't post every day, but I will try to get on to read as much as possible. (Thank goodness for Sesame Street!!! :lol: Let's see, how else can I say. Right now I am at 185. I had been up to 242 right before baby was born, that was a whopping 100#s gained during pregnancy....I always had a tendency to go all out!!!;) But I had lost down to 142 and then got pg again, so hence to 100# gain. (note to self ~ there is not such a thing as eating for two, slap next person that says that.:s: ) What else....oh trying to exercise, but that is a whole different topic. Well time to fly, baby is stirring. (he is so cute if I do say so myself!!!):yes: Gosh , I LOVE these smilies, I am sitting here laughing at them. ROFL!! Bye for now, Caroline P.S. Feeling crappy and guilty, etc. I've had no success with low carb and instead of going back on a WW type program, I'm dithering and eating too much of everything.
I know, I should give low carb longer to work but this isn't the first time I've been on it and after the initial 2 - 5 lb weight loss, I always come to a dead halt and stay stuck for months. I'm trying to build up my courage to try Xenical again. I have a one month supply of them but after the misery I went through a few days ago, I'm really leery about going through that again. :o Sorry to dump on you chicks. I just so envy the success of so many of you on this woe. Nothing works for me anymore though. Not low carb. Not low fat. Not low cal. I'm doomed to be a big, fat lump forever. |
Linda, what ever you decide to do, you know we will back you up on it. :grouphug: You aren't doomed. We just haven't found the way that works for you yet.

Tammy, I wanted to comment about your "comfort food" remark. I know what your talking about. Mine used to be home made mac and cheese. Id eat it by the bowlfuls!!!! You just have to find another comfort food. Mine is taco salad (without the salad part when I need comforting) add big ole blobs of sourcream, lots of cheddar cheese.......and enjoy :) For me it wasnt really comfort food, but something savoury tasting that was missing. This did the trick. Its also what I will binge on when Im craving sweets, and have uncontrolable hunger during pms. Works every time :) |
time for a quick hi before unloading the dishwasher, and getting ready for bed. It's been a hectic week, and I am taking Monday off to get caught up.
I will do some house stuff- finish taking off stuck wallpaper that has been unfinished for 2 months. I have to get some paint on these kitchen walls before I go out of my mind. If I haven't already :dizzy: We are most likely going to move this year, but I need to get this house in good shape to sell. No much else, see you tomorrow! dottie |
