Default New to Atkins

Just got Dr Atkin's New Diet Revolution and guess I will have to re-read the first ten chapters again. It's a whole new world for me. Totally confused, but that doesn't take much. I plan on doing Atkins but would like to find someone else new to it also to be a buddy with. Wendy

HI! I am starting Atkins "again" tomorrow. I was on this diet before, but had to stop because of frequent heart palpitations. Has anyone experienced this with the Atkins diet?

big mamma did you tqake any supps??? that is one of the biggest problem with newbies is they dio not want to take pills. when your body is flusing out all the water also goes much of the minerals with it. it is very important to take magnesium, potassium and calcium supps/ that will relieve any jumpy legs, heart palpitations, and legs that just do not want to move, and costipation. trust me i have done this for quite a while i know all the ins and outs of the low carb woe. you need your supps.

I buy my Atkins products from Vitamin World in the mall. They're even cheaper than Wal-mart. They have a website, so you could order online. Potassium I bought at Wally-world, for $3. Total cost for my monthly supplements is less than $21.
