Default Reflux when eating carbs

Anyone notice they have reflux when eating carbs? What causes this? I ate pizza 2x this week and had terrible reflux and no, it wasn't caused by the dairy or the sauce.

Yup! I get it everytime from butter tarts and sometimes from pizza. It helps keep me pure!

No TSk Tsk needed. I swore off them in June 2001 after a Victorian Tea Party. I still sneak in a bit of pizza, however.

I bought a king sized jar of Tums just to get me through the holiday season. Just about any carbs, if eaten to excess (which I invariably do) will give me the most horrific heartburn you can imagine. I've spent entire nights in my recliner chair because to lie down flat causes such misery.
Ruth, I'm about to have a golden halo manufactured just for you. Gosh darn it, girl, you DO have will power!

Hey Tilly, have you tried the recipe for the Atkin's rolls on the recipe forum? I put my pizza toppings on them and then roll them up like a taco. Yum!
