Talking Have they lost their minds?!?!!!

Hubby and daughter just left for their annual Christmas Eve jaunt to the MALL!!!!!!!!!!

You would have to pull me kicking and screaming into the mall on a good day, but on Christmas Eve, I don't think so.

They have done this for years, it's a father/daughter tradition. They seem to enjoy it, so okay!!

They both claim to like the hustle bustle of the last minute shopping. Hubby said this is when he does his best shopping. Okay, but did you have to teach the daughter this

I'm baking again......middle son is going to a Christmas party after dinner tonight. He ask me to make lemon bars so he could take something. LOVE lemon bars!! But I won't eat any, they are for someone else.

Everything is done and I'm a little bored, can you tell!!

Merry Christmas
Debbie

I've managed to avoid the mall all season, but today I have to make a stop to get a gift certificate. I plan on making(LOL) ole Alvin drive me and wait in the car for me so I don't have to hassle with the parking.

For anyone who is interested I've posted pics of my "decorating" the link is http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...9803&members=1

Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Barb, love the pics!!! You've been busy.

I have two questions, 1. Where is a pic of you and ole Alvin???? and 2. I noticed the Blue Willow dishes, how old are they? I have a set that were my Grandma's, she said she has had them "since she took up housekeeping."

Thanks for sharing!

Barb will you decorate my house next year?

Do you collect Fenton? My hometown is where it's made (Parkersburg/Williamstown, WV). It always amazes me that so many people across the county collect Fenton, around my hometown it's sooo plentiful you can buy it at yardsales!

Dyan, my Aunt married a man from Ripley, WV. They lived there for years and years, raised their kids there than moved to my Aunt's hometown, also my hometown in northern Virginia.

It's a small world isn't it.

Debkay: Hopefully tomorrow I will get some picture of the "people" in my life, and 2) Those are not Blue Willow dishes. They are blue and white, but the pattern is different. It is Wedgewood, and yes it is old, but I'm not sure of exactly how old. If you really like blue Willow you should have seem my MIL's house. She collectd it for years and years and years and got a lot of it from England. My SIL lives in her house now and still has most of it.

dyan I "semi" collect Fenton. When we had an antique store we were Fenton Dealers and bought direct form the factory to resell. When we closed the shot I kept lots of it,and occassionaly I find a piece that I think I can't live without and can afford. I watched the segment on QVC the other day and thought how much I'd like to have more. Maybe we can make an arrangement for you to buy me some at yard sells, and I'd pay for it and the shipping!
