HA, so I can now blame Leenie for the extra pounds. She put the curse on us.
Ruth, I ate most of the Cranberry Crunch all by myself. WAAAAH!
The good news is that so far today I have been totally Induction. If I can just get through today and most of tomorrow without snacking on goodies (baddies) I will feel I've accomplished something.
I thought I was ready for Christmas but it's a sunny day and I can see streaks on windows and dust on furniture that shouldn't be there. Also need to clean bathrooms. I'd rather do a 100 loads of laundry than clean bathrooms. Why do you guys hate laundry so much? Unless you're kneeling by a stream and scrubbing it with your hands, how hard can it be? I can remember helping my grandmother wring out sheets by hand when the wringer on her old washer kicked the bucket. Now THAT was work! Then they were all hung out on a line to dry. They smelled wonderful but what a job, especially on a cold day. They all got IRONED too...can you imagine that? She would fold them and iron other things on top and gradually move the sheet around as she did her other ironing, the sheets would get ironed at the same time. When my kids were small and constantly grubby, I once had to go six months without a washing machine and no laundromats nearby. I found an old fashioned scrubbing board and did my laundry in the bathtub. I'll never forget how I ached. In fact, come to think of it, that's when my bursitis first started. Still think you've got it tough with your permanent press fabrics and your automatic washers and dryers?
