Default Flylady

I've been reading on the other threads about how many people here do Flylady. I love Flylady!!! I've made my bed every single day since I started doing her back in June. I NEVER made my bed before and now it feels so good to go into my bedroom at night and pull down the covers (cat doesn't like it though b/c he can't make a nest in the bed during the day).

Last week was my week for doing the living room zone. Last night I completed the last task on my list - culling my books. I have two small bookcases overflowing with books. I decided to spend 1/2 hour going through them. In that time I was able to not only get rid of about 15 books (many of them dupes!) but organize by author too! The bathroom is this week's zone. I can do a super duper cleaning in about an hour!

I used to feel so overwhelmed by housework. I was convinced that washing the windows would take me an hour (dirty windows are a pet peeve of mine), thus, I never did them b/c it would "take too long." Yesterday I'm proud to report I washed all three of my living room windows in 15 minutes, inside and out!

I've still got to get the 27 fling boogies down, and de clutter my closets, but this is such a great system, I love it!

Ha ha MamaJ, with Flylady there is no need to spring clean!

I am noticing that I am putting off the task of getting my photos organized into albums. Anyone else have this problem - one thing you just never take care of? They are sitting in bags in my living room and I would love to get them out of the way. I wonder if I am procrastinating for a larger reason. The reason that comes to mind (and this is going to sound really crazy, I KNOW), is that when there is something that needs to be done, it means you will never have nothing to do. Sounds insane right?
