Default Robin, YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!

Robin, your losses are amazing and inspiring!!!! I am so happy for you!!!

I was terrible with a capital "T" this weekend. I seriously cheated, not just stretching the rules. I'll try to reconstruct Saturday and Sunday:

Saturday:
Breakfast: Atkins bar
Lunch: steak and cheese with onions/salad with blue cheese dressing
(not so bad, right? Well, here goes....)
Snack: 16 oz. hot apple cider with brandy, rum and some other liquor (had at City Tavern in Philadelphia)
Dinner: Bread and butter, egg noodles and steak.

OMIGOD!!!

Yesterday was equally bad:

Breakfast: hot dog (no bun)
Lunch: roast beef with cheese melted on top
Snack: same
Dinner: 2 slices PIZZA!!!!!!!!

Today is a new day! I am not even going to weigh until next Monday. Gotta just get back on track this week. I hope to still meet my goal of 145 by Dec. 1.

Today food:
Breakfast: pork rinds with some goat cheese
Lunch: chicken cutlets with cheese on top, cup of broccoli with butter and cheese
Snack: Atkins bar and tea with half and half
Dinner will be: cheeseburger and salad with blue cheese dressing.

I bet you enjoyed every morsel Tilly!! lol I miss some things, and the convience of others. But your doing great!!

For some reason I was really hungry today, and the day isnt over yet. I may still go make a deviled egg or 2.

In addition to my meal plan above, I have to add an Atkins chocolate mocha crunch bar mmmmmmmmmmm and big huge blobs of sour cream on my hamburger and about 2 more oz of mozza cheese for snacks. So far Im at 25 carbs for the day, which is really high for me....but hey, its weigh in day....Ive got a week to work this off lol

Have a nice evening everyone
Robin

I've been too busy today. Family is sick with the flu! So inbetween taking care of them this is what I had. Not fancy but it did the trick.

Breakfast~~ Mountain Dew...diet

Lunch~~ Salad with bacon and mayo

Dinner~~ chicken legs with hot sauce on them. Like hot wings but better to me!

Snacks throughout the day~~ Cheese, a few slices of salami, and some peanut butter.

This was not a good day. I can do better then this. I didn't get my water and drank way too many Dews. Tomorrow I will limit myself to one soda and drink my water. Right now it's TOM so this menu is really good for me. I'm staying away from the peppermint patties and that's good!!

Default Tuesday

Stayed OP yesterday, and feel good. I'm still pissed that it's going to take a couple of days to get back into ketosis though. A lesson learned.

Robin, you know what? I didn't really enjoy the cheat (except for the drink ). It just wasn't worth it. Next time I cheat (and I'm sure there will be a next time) I'm going to make sure I know ahead of time that the food will be worth it. More resolve!!

Food today:
Breakfast: goat cheese rolled up in a piece of lettuce
Snack: Atkins chocolate raspberry bar and a cup of tea
Lunch: chicken cutlets with cheese, broccoli with butter
Dinner: TBD, probably a meat and some creamed cauliflower

Drinking water again today. I think I became a little dehydrated over the weekend.

This is my first official day back on the Atkins after a 2 month hiatus. I lost 30 pounds on the Atkins in 1 month, and in 2 months of "making up" for the month on the Atkins, I ate everything in sight and STOPPED exercising. *sigh*

Today:
breakie: 6 hard boiled egg whites. 4 ounces turkey sausauge
lunch: 1 can of green beans, 5 ounces of turkey sausage
dinner: grilled salmon, and the rest of the green beans
*1 multivitamin

It is only 1 pm and already I have gotten in my 64 ounces of water! I might try and make it to 100 if I don't float away first

I've been in ketosis for several days now. Wonder if I'll show a loss this Friday.
Here's yesterday's menus. (monday Nov 18)
Breakfast with Ruthxxx
2 egg omelet filled with diced ham, mushrooms & green onions and cheddar cheese
4 slices bacon.

Lunch
leftover roast pork
leftover mixed salad

Snack
To Die For Cheesecake with whipped cream (I've posted the menu) 8 gr carb per slice

Dinner
more leftover roast pork
brocolli
1 tbsp gravy

Snacks
1 tbsp pb with 1 tsp butter
another slice of cheesecake & whipped cream.
Under 30 grams of carbs today.

Tuesday (so far)

Br.
4 slices bacon topped with sliced mushrooms and red peppers and 2 oz mozza cheese...run under the broiler till bubbly. Very yummy.

Lunch (will be)
leftover roast beef slices topped with sauted green peppers, mushrooms and onions, 1 tbsp ranch dressing and sliced cheddar cheese run under broiler until bubbly. (Also very yummy)

Dinner
leftover roast pork
mashed cauliflower "potatoes"
sauteed zucchini, mushrooms and onions

Snacks
I just know I'll be eating more cheesecake. How much is the question.

Default Wednesday food

Hey all! Yesterday's dinner was actually about 2 oz of brie and creamed cauliflower. Today:
Breakfast: 1 oz smoked almonds, Atkins bar, tea
Lunch: Unknown. I am going out for a holiday lunch to the '21 Club' in NYC. If available, I plan to have steak and creamed spinach.
Dinner: leftover chicken, broccoli and creamed cauliflower.

I'm going to test tonight to see if I'm back in ketosis. I'm still feeling dehydrated so I've got to keep the water up. Hope everyone is well today!!

Robin~~~ What is Chivetta's ??

Breakfast~~ A Mt. Dew ( I'm slowely getting rid of these I think they are one of the sources of my cravings)
2 eggs scrambled with a dash of sea salt

Lunch~~ 2 burger patties on a bed of lettuce with some mayo and 2 little dill pickles

Dinner~~ Hot Legs~~ I fry some chicken legs in oil then add my own hot sauce. I'll have some asparagus with the and butter

I only need one more bottle of water to make my water goal for the day. I can do that easily especially with the hot foods that I'll be having at dinner.

Thumbs up I cheated again

OK, so I went out to lunch. I cheated. I had a couple of really thin breadsticks with butter and the corner of a cheese bread. Not so much. Lunch was steak with creamed spinach -- I avoided the potatoes and did not eat them. For dessert I had berries with whipped cream, there was probably some sugar in the cream. Not so bad, but I'm starting to feel like I'll never get back on track.

Default Chivetta's

Hi Chrissy, Chivetta's is a marinade/bbq sauce. Sugar free, and extremely tastey on chicken and pork!!

Tilly, hang in there! Maybe try to go back and do a week of induction to help you get back on track. You've done really great so far, dont let a couple slips get you down.

Hello fellow menuers! Today I did good. Yesterday I did not!

Today:

B Smoothis

L Taco salad

D chicken alfredo and lima beans

S sugar free pudding, a bit too much! Also coffee

Yesterday:

B eggs and cheese

L smoothie

D .........popcorn at the movies, then stir fry and eggrolls later! Acckk!

Went to Harry Potter, and didn't even THINK just jumped right into the popcorn, so of course when we went to dinner afterward I was in mad carb fits so I ate the eggrolls. Stayed off the desserts, though, and tossed the fortune cookie!

Oh well, today was hard, but I managed. Tomorrow should be easier. This weeks splurge dinner will obvoiusly be on Sunday. We always have a Thanksgiving the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving at my Moms. Tradition since we always used to travel for Thanksgiving to the beach, and we just kept it up, minus the beach. Also will have a dinner at work, and my own on Thursday. I have to be GOOD GOOD GOOD this week to get prepared.

Back on track today guys. Here goes:
Breakfast: egg salad w/mayo on 2 lettuce leaves
Snack: .5 Atkins bar, tea
Lunch: 2 italian pork sausages (grilled on the George Foreman grill!), creamed cauliflower, green beans with butter
Snack: .5 Atkins bar
Dinner: unknown - will post about it tomorrow, whatever it is.

4pm - adding other snacks
