We did the doctor bit yesterday morning, went out for lunch and then I went to town for a haircut. It was a really crappy cold and wet day!
The blood test results were not good. My glucose levels which have been controlled by diet for several years are high so I have to start testing my blood four times a day for a while. I hate that but do have a nifty new tester thingie that tests on the arm, not the finger. Much less painful. I am also supposed to keep a food journal. Grrrr! I hate this! I've been keeping food journals and worrying about my weight for over 40 years! However ....
I'd better get right on this if I intend to live another 40 years.
The good news is that Doctor Jack thinks my wrist is healing beautifully but that I was wise to postpone the other operation a while. He says I'll continue to have pain in the wrist as the nerves regenerate. That's a relief, I think. I really suspected the incision was causing the "discomfort" - such a euphemism for PAIN.
Sorry to be such a whiner.
The good news is that I got a haircut and Harry cooked dinner and cleaned up the kitchen. Sometimes he realizes that I've had a rough time and am on the edge of a scream! I must start telling him sooner!
Miss Lucy woke us up at 5:30 this morning. I think she is lonesome at night and wants to sleep upstairs with Harry, Mommy and Hershey! I really don't want two dogs in the bedroom - do I?
Have to get organized for Miss Lucy's class this morning. I may remember to take the camera and take some pics of her pals.

I have had my shot in the arm and I'm awaiting my big appointment today at 4. Dh is coming home at 2:30 to do his "thing" in a cup and then off I speed down the highway to the doctor's office. I sure hope this works because right now my arm hurts and I'm all crampy and bloaty. Miss M is at daycare all day so I don't have to worry about her.

I have been very busy this AM. We have another away football game tonight, so of course, I had to make cookies for the kids on my bus. I'm not even sure hubby and I will be able to chaperone tonight. I have to pick him up at the airport, rush to the school in order to be on the buses. The school we are playing tonight is over an hour away and we are doing our show pre-game, since it is the other schools homecoming. Hubbies plane is due in at 2:30, as of right now it is on time, he's coming from London so has been in the air for quite some time. Cross your fingers that Friday traffic in Atlanta is light tonight. Well, we finally got the carpet and vinyl in the office and bathroom! I'll be busting hiney to try to get everything back together and files moved (thanks to dh who decided to change file cabinets!) I think I've finally convinced him that we may be a home based business but the office // driveway // breezeway area is what his clients and engineers see! duhhhh - presentation and a reflection of your business! I've been dieing to go to Garden Ridge - now with the need of new office accessories, I have an excuse ! Deb & Peach, I think my husband knows yours!

I spent yesterday afternoon in the back yard pulling weeds& vines and tree saplings that have sprouted up in my Daylily bed, between the pool and the creek. I was so sore last night that i had to take a muscle relaxer to be able to sleep. So, today will be a light housecleaning day.

Deb~~My vote is for you and your DH to stay home tonight. I'm sure that he'll be exhausted. And wouldn't you rather be home with him, snuggleing on the couch instead of sitting in Atlantic traffic? You need some time to relax.

I think I might be spreading myself a little to thin.....it is taking me an hour in the morning to read all my threads and post ...anyhow it has been a good week but went a little too quickly.

Morning all. Have a busy day here, cleaning, preparing for potluck tomorrow, shopping etc etc etc. Stayed on plan all day yesterday wooo hoooo, hopefully I am back in the swing of it now. Am also going down to check out the new ladies gym in town, they have a daycare (which I need to check out), hopefully it will be suitable for Atilla, he is a very busy boy and needs to be watched like a hawk!

Hi everyone! Oh, Friday, glorious Friday!! Had a pretty good day in the stinkhole, as I am affectionately referring to my office. We had 4 days good rain, and now I have a lake in my carpet. It smells like about 7 male cats sprayed in there!!!!!!!! Ewwwwww. So, I am breathing in toxic mold every day, which explains my lack of sanity! Comforting thought, huh?

so all i have a weekend off it is swim team in the am for 2 hours then off to haunted bike ride then off to take annette to the mall and see the gorges in ithica then who knowes what nest that is just sat, then sunday it is clean the house then do more stuff then go to a bowling party for the kids from other countries it will be fun! then i guess i am suposed to have a boyscout get together sunday night but guess what will not be happening????
