  • Oh yay yay yay!! Ladies, please meet June. She is one of the most vibrant, beautiful positive forces I have ever met! She is a TOPS leader, a wonderful singer and should be a motivational speaker. Ok, I guess I have embarrassed her enough for one night.
  • Now that I have regained composure, here are my revised goals!

    1. Eat On Plan 6 out of 7 days a week.
    2. Have activity 4 times a week. Not necessarily exercise, but at least real activity!
    3. I will increase my water to an appropriate level and maintain that level throughout the month.
    4. I will participate in relaxation or at least 'non computer activity'
every day. Something as stress relief. ( I actually started reading the Motley Crue autobiography on the toilet tonite.)
    5. Weigh once a week.
    6. Report daily to the boot camp to keep me in line and to give
    encouragement to others.
  • Well, I guess it's time for me to post my goals - better late than never, I guess!

I'm keeping my goals modest, in hopes of actually being able to reach them!

    1) do some REAL movement (either excercise or a "good" walk or even activity w/the grands, when I get to see them) 3-4x per week(which is 3.5x more than I have been doing!!)

    2) my eating has been ok, but lately I've been slacking on veggies and salad, so I guess I will need to ensure I have at least 1 salad and 1 veggie each day (my portions are BIG on salad and veggies )

    3) 5 lbs lost -- to bring me to 30 lbs which is aprx 1/2 way! I'm a slow loser, so I don't know if 5 lbs is reasonable -- it's taken 5-1/2 months to lose 25 lbs (and 7 of those were the 1st week!!!)

I guess that'll do it........ good luck to all of us!
  • Psyching Myself up for Another Good Day
Jennifer you are so sweet. Thank you for saying those things. Its been a long road but I am slowly but surely being ME and who I want to be.

I had a VERY good food day today. Had a little too much cheese for a snack but will do better tomorrow. Walked around the hospital once today and am ready to have a much, much better day tomorrow. So I am on a roll.

Hope everyone else had a great day and ready to conquer the world again tomorrow!!!!
  • How is everyone doing?
Just wanted to see how everyone was doing with their goals this past week.

After a shaky start I am slowly but surely getting my bottom in gear. Have actually followed my food plan down to the letter the last 5 days, so I am really glad about that. Have also been doing really good about exercising even with the tendonitus pain. Have been taking Naproxen and putting ice on my foot. I just don't want anything to slow me down. I'll be going back to the foot doctor on the 15th so we will see what he says.

So, today I am going to exercise at water aerobics then after that relax and write some letters.
