Default Daily, Wednesday Sept 25th

Quietly getting out the mugs and putting the coffee on. Help yourself, but be warned, I need to clean the pot!

Up extremely early this morning with a nasal "thing" going on. I hate that. I also have a boob "thing" going on which I think I hate even more. Pms, who needs that?

Pooky? did you ever try that sewing gizmo yet? Let me know how you like it.

Jenny, I'll send you picts of the boys! I still have your addy! (I think!)

Been spending some time in the craft store. Snowmen jumped into my friend's cart yesterday (I never get a cart 'cause I ain't buying any thing). Up until now I have just been collecting wood with no intention of doing them. BUT then my not jiff sis called and said, "hey! are you going to be doing anymore of those snowmen, trees, santas etc etc etc." So I painted 1...just one last night....kind of cute...but I am NOT doing anymore. honest!:zip:

Need to either wake up OR go back to bed. Taking mom to the doctor today and then a fun filled day of paying her bills!

have a good one,

peach

Peach you are too funny!!! I love craft stuff!! but like yu i get too much and can not do it all.

HHHMMM the coffee is good. the dirty pot makes it taste even better!!

well for me it has been rush rush rusu for everything. at the NH we are expecting the state to come dancing in any day now. I hate that. it always happens when i am jst getting used to a place. but anyways... the kids are improving by leaps and bounds with their swimming!! I am so proud of them.

we are having a pot luck lunch at the NH today. it is enat as they then charge 3$ for a plate and any one can get food. so it is to help out a charity type. today it is to raise cash as one of the girls wants to get money to redo the lounge decorations. it wil be nice.

Morning!

Peach, you are too funny but never say never...
Coffee with the girls today and then to the gym. They like going to the gym but they need chat time too. My legs are very sore from the strength training class yesterday. Maybe the caffeine will help them move.

I did my first afternoon at the school library. Little man's class came in, He was so proud to see me there telling everyone I was his mom...but did he give me a kiss? NO he has become very stingy with them in public. They grow so fast.

Has anyone been to a curves gym? One opened in town and it is next door to the karate studio, I was wondering if anyone likes it or not. It is a really cheep joining rate at the moment, almost too good to pass up.

Well, time to get my butt out of bed.
Have a good day,
-L

Default Good rainy morning in the deep south!! :D:D

peachie you are up very early. Not doing crafts, yea right Hey, enjoy your crafts.

Sue I like the idea of the pot luck dinner for charity, and the wheels start turning in the old brain. Can we say new FUNDRAISER!!!!

L, our kids just LOVE it when Mom is at the school. My daughter at 16, still enjoys seeing Mom at school. She would never admit it, but the little smile on her face gives her away.

Okay you northern chicks, don't laugh, but last night at band practice (Tuesday practice is from 5:00 to 8:00) I sat wrapped in a blanket, I wasn't the only one. We have been pretty warm and steamy, yesterday was down right chilly by comparsion. We figured it was maybe 65 last night, but the wind was blowing. Okay, you can stop laughing now.

Warning brag alert: We took the band to a county wide exhibition Monday night. Most of the bands in the county perfrom for each other and are judged, no trophies given out, just scores. We knew our kids had a great show, but our band director received an email from one of the judges telling him that our band was by far the STARS of the show. Okay I'm done now. We may not have a very good football team, but we have a heck of a band!!!!!!! I want a shirt that reads "Football game, what football game, I'm here for the band" And yes, I'm a football fan.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good Morning Ladies
It's a breezy~rainy day here in Geargia. I can't wait for the Boot Camp to start because I really need a kick-in-the-pants. I've been extremely tired this past week. TOM was here and so was a virus that I've been trying to get over. I gained 5 pounds last week I'd like to blame it on TOM and canned soup (sodium) but time will tell. I did workout Monday, but was too tired yesterday.
I feel pretty good this morning, so I plan on going downstairs in a little bit and lifting weights (chest & biceps), crunches and 30 min of cardio on the exercise bike. When we start the Boot Camp I'll list my workout schedule (on that thread) to keep accountable.

Today will be spent sewing.

Deb~~Do you have band practice in the rain? Great website and great looking band.

L~~It must be fun to have friends to workout with.

Sue~~We're getting ready for JACHO to make their visit to us also. It's always stressful for months before their visit Enjoy your potluck.

Peach~~I have $5 bet on the fact that you will do more crafts before Xmas. Any takers?

Leens~~~I know how you feel. We know what we need to do and we also know that it makes us feel good when we do it. Then why is it sooooo difficult to do it????????????????
Join me in the Boot Camp and maybe we can do it together

All to come~~~Have a glorious day

Morning Girls!

Busy hen house this morning, I as usual got up late and almost lead to a parental moment this morning! I FORGOT today was picture day at the school so 3 seconds (literally!) before we left I remembered and sprinted into Miree's room to grab her picture day clothes. Changed her at school and she's quite content now.

I seriously need a coffee, I actually have to work this moring! I have been in the midst of plans and fudraising to erect a shade structure in the playyard at M's daycare. We are getting only $1000 provincial funding so obviously we ave to stretch those dollars and find donations--fast. I have to make up a flyer and post it at my dh's work (got permission from his boss) Building day is October 19th but they pour the concrete for the footings on the 18th. We need 26 bags of concrete so I'm hoping some of the fellas at dh's work can donate some building materials. Failing that, we've got to go to the lumberyard and convince them to donate materials for us! Sigh... Hands full!

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning Chickies!

Peachie, Wish we lived closer, would love to help you "not buy" things at the craft store. When I am feeling low, I just hope in the car and go to Michaels (our local super craft store) and within minutes I am feelin fine. Look forward to seeing pics of those boys of yours. I will try to post our school pics, as I do have a scanner, but am intiminated by it!

Sue, Don't rush too much, take some time for yourself, are you fitting in your exercise?

L, I love seeing the faces of my boys when I show up in school. I even enjoy all the other kids that now recognize me and run up to greet me with a hug. Regarding Curves, I go to the Y because of the convience. I have friends that go to Curves, and they really like it.

Debkay, Love hearing about the band, they sound wonderful!

Hi Leens!

2Bfit1, Have fun sewing today. Sounds like you have a great exercise program planned.

Pooky, Sounds like a lot of work to do with the fundraising. Take it easy, that can take a lot out of you. I hope you have help.

MamaJ, Are you out there? Hope all is well with you and yours.

Have a great day chickies!

'Morning chickies...... this will be a quick fly-by...... I was out of the house by 6 this a.m.... has to go for MR and EEG... uck! No coffee was allowed prior to the exam!!!!! I don't know how I managed to drive all the way there!! Had to come home to wash my hair (again -- had to wash it BEFORE the EEG also) to get all that awful gop and ink out of it, and now gotta get ready to go to work --had to say to you all first!

Am still waiting to hear back from ANY of the job interviews I have had - and, oh yeah, I got a call yesterday for another one!! I really really really gotta get a real job! This one is becoming the pits very quickly!

Gee Peach, if I had known you were up so early I would have given you a cup of coffee from a clean pot!!! (and I would have drooled watching you drink it, too!)
Sue - pot luck supper -- what a GREAT fundraising idea! I'll have to borrow it and present it to the rest of the board at The Ministries!
L - if you have some "extra" energy, feel free to come on down and help out here!!!
Deb - poor baby, freezing last night! Altho, I gotta admit, I went out this morning in sweats cause it was cold!
Leens - don't beat yourself up -- there's too many "other" people out there in the world who are only to anxious to kick us, why should we help them????
Sil - where do you get your determination to be so darn good about the excercise? is it sold in bottles? could you send me some please???
Pooky, when do we get to see the new pic of Miree? I'm sure she looked like a little angel!
Jennie - I'd love to go to Michael's with you and Peach and "not buy" any more yarn!!!!!
Well, gotta fly..... have a great day everyone......

L, I have not been to Curves, but there are two women on the mailing list that love it. It is a cheap place because they have low overhead. They only need a small space. The equipment is in a circle, and they play music and a bell rings every few minutes when it is time to change postitions. You walk in place between each piece of equipment. Bell rings, everybody rotates. You do this for 30 minutes and you are done. Seems easy and people get results, but I dunno if I like the idea of standing in a circle with a bunch of women that I have to look at while I work out. Kinda like standing in an elevator to me!

Leens, I'm sorry you are having a tough time. It is a vicious circle and you will find a way to break out of it!
