OK, so I had a big long post and now it's gone! I hate when that happens.

So here's a recap: up early, I don';t know why.

Today is me and my dh's 5th annivversary. Went to the casino last night and lost but we found that the casino now has a Chinese fod buffet (hear that Ruth??) that's REALLY good!

Today we are getting our wood order for the winter--10 cord should be showing up at 9 am and dh is going to be very busy!

I'm off to get my ultrasound done to check for follicles and I hope that everything is "normal" Then I get to go and spend time with my 19 year old cousin and her new baby. Should be lots of fun OK, breathe...breathe...breathe..

Jiff--you GO girlfriend! 237 pounds lost?? WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Peachie, I've got some crafts too, he he he :hypno2:

Linda--BACK AWAY FROM THE WAFFLES!! Hope you'll have a better OP day today!

Same for you Sue! Oreos!

Have a good one everyone I missed and anyone to come!

Default Good Morning All!!

Coffee is in front of me, strong and leaded. I know I will need more.

L, tell your hubby the weather is finally starting to break a little in the south, the few days he is here should be pleasant.

Pooky the puppies are way too cute! Congrats on the anniversary.

Jiff, 3 pounds in a week, whats wrong with that? Your doing so well......just keep reminding yourself of where you were last year at this time, and SMILE!!!

Barb, so glad the clothes you had stashed fit you.

peachie, I thought about you all day on Friday while I was walking around the Yellow Daisy Festival. There were so many craft booths, almost too many to see. As a matter of fact we didn't see them all, we gave up and went to the Sycamore Grill, home of the sweet potato fries, Atlanta get-together girls, remember them?? I only had a couple, and then had one of their wonderful salads.

dottiejon, hope you are enjoying your time away.

Toryah hope the house hunting goes well.

Sue have you recovered from the cheerleading fees yet?

MamaJ where are you??

Off to start my day, have a great one all!

Debbie

Good morning everyone! Hugs to all who could use one, thanks, I'll take one too! Monday is the crappiest day around here!! I've gotta find some way to get out of that mindset!

Pooky, fingers and toes crossed that you have lots of beautiful eggs this a.m. Spending time with DH should probably be high on your list today Good luck!

Ruth!! Come out and play, okay?

Oops, there goes the phone! I will address all later!

Good morning!

Where did the weekend go? We moved furniture, set up the Soloflex - which I'm counting as my exercise, I hurt all over, that thing is a monster. I didn't have any water at all this weekend. I lived on diet cola and now it shows. I'm all puffy. yuck!

Pooky - Good luck this morning. Happy Anniversary!

Gotta get to work, one of the girls has jury duty so I have to go sit up front.

Morning Chickies......

Sheesh! having been off the board for the weekend (due to the holiday) it's kind of hard for me to catch up! I read everyone's posts, but now I can't remember what I wanted to say to each and every one of you! Oh well, please know that it was all witty, wise and absolutely on target!!! I'm gonna have to stop being away from here... I miss you all too much!
Responses that I DO remember:

- the puppy shots are adorable, and so is Miree!!
- crafting? hmmmm... I'm starting to crochet again, does that count?
- 3 lbs!!! Jif, that is GREAT!
- Getting into clothes that we bought and couldn't wear is the BEST feeling, Barb!

ummmmm..... my CRS and CRAFT are kicking in so I don't remember what else I wanted to say..... so......

have a great moanday everyone!

Sure is MOANday around here! Gail came at 8 to do the usual cleaning and to shampoo the carpets. I drove to the next town for the carpet machine. Came home. It didn't work so back I go to get the other one WHICH HAD NOT BEEN RETURNED! Grrr! Luckily it was one of the employees who had it so he drove home to get it. Gail got the carpets cleaned by 1. She is going to do her own carpets and return the damned thing for me! I love that woman!

So....I decided to go to the Office for a bit this morning and found out that the door lock is broken and I can't get in. The guy who can fix it just left on his honeymoon so ...... no office work today.

Good thing I have library books and a lovely front porch! I'm going to get some lunch and then read and cool off! (By the way, this was an "I Need A Bag Of Chips" Day but I resisted!)

Well, here's the good news--my uterine lining is wonderful, I have LOTS of eggs and 2 of them look really promising. I have to go back Friday to find out how much they have grown. Doc predicts by next week they'll be ready to pop. Whew! I hope so!

Howdy! How's everyone tonight? I had PMS big time earlier, but now I'm happy as can be! Can we say hormonal roller coaster?????

At any rate, it's time for dd's bath and off to bed, but I couldn't rest without posting first. Something about being a lurker just bugs me, you know?

Ya'll have a good night and I promise I'll write more tomorrow!

Default Hello Chickies

Well, I'm back OP after a disastrous weekend. Oh my, oh my. Linda was a very naughty girl.
Went to the pool this morning and worked out pretty hard there. Otherwise, pretty lazy all day. I had to go and get groceries and when I got home Y&R was on so watched that, sort of dozing at the same time. Then somehow I got the Shopping Channel on and darned if I didn't order myself a couple of things. A pretty blue jade bracelet, necklace and earrings with sterling silver settings and a Chinese motiff, and the other set is turquoise and sterling. I've never ordered from there before and DH will s**t bricks when he finds out. What can I say? The devil made me do it. I'm calling them my belated 38th anniversary gifts (from HIM) LOL.
BTW, Pooky, congratulations on your anniversary AND the healthy eggs. I hope you get even better news real soon.

Ruth, did you get your shampooer from Safeway? I've been seriously thinking about doing my heavy traffic areas with one of them because the rest of the carpet is still clean. I hate to pay someone to come in to do the whole carpet when it's just a few areas that really need it. Did you pre-spray yours?

Princess, just count the -2 lb from today. You will lose the other 2 lb again and feel really great about it but if you count it as -4 today, and then you gain a couple, you will feel terrible. Does that make sense?

Today, I felt simply marvelous after gassing up my car. Not because the prices were good...they sure weren't. But the lady who runs the store and gas bar in our neighbourhood said to me when I walked in to pay "LINDA, what have you done? You've lost so much weight!". I told her she wins a prize because she's the first person in a whole year of dieting to notice a difference in my size. She also said I am walking easier which is true. I never could have climbed all those stairs at the Street of Dreams on Saturday if I hadn't lost this 35 lb over the past year. Let's see, five houses with at least two full flights of stairs each makes 10 flights of stairs up and and 10 down. I think it's also helped that for the past year I've been climbing the stairs from the pool level to the lobby of our rec center which is about 16 steps. Last year I would have to stop several times to try to catch my breath and then sit for a while at the top because I thought my lungs were imploding. Now I can do it all in one go, packing a 30 lb bag and don't have to stop to rest after either. Life is good.

Linda, that is so great that you climbed all those stairs, and congrats on getting noticed! I get noticed when I *haven't* lost, then it is embarrassing to say 'Uh...I lost 1 pound.'
Oh well, beats getting asked when the little darling is due!

Sherrie, you should blast your ex to make your day better. Works for me.

Leens, big hugs!! I wasn't posting here when 9/11 came. Did you lose anyone personally? It is tragic and painful, but I am sucked into reading more about it at the same time. I don't understand why...

Dyan! Soloflex! Lucky woman!!

Toryah, have fun on the house picking! Oooh, that was so much fun for us when we looked. I didn't get my dream house. Couldn't pass inspection (my dad...another story you don't want to hear) but I did get the neighborhood I wanted. Have fun!

Oh, I am really stressed out and my I have stress pains, I am going to do the unbelievable...watch tv!
