Morning girls. busy morning but did not have time yesterday to stop in eiterh early or late so i am making the time this morning
coffee is on and hot.
Torayah with pcos it will take time before you see a drop in weight some times you need to slap the body. just make wure that you are watching all the food you aret aking in. in the challenge thread post your food intake all of it, maybe some one can look at it and see if there is any tweaking that needs to be done. some times there is a trigger food that cases stalls for some people that you may be eating. so we will see what we can do.
Barb we all bring our kids to school at 3 am don't you?? we can not wait to get them out of the house!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!
well it is off to work for me!! must run. HHMM Barbit must be 2 am for you !!! LOL

My daughter just yelled at me i am laughin too lud!!! you newbies have the greatest names!!! lump on a hog!!! OMG!!! too funny well bye girls
Barb give ole Alvin a hug for me, from one wls patient to another, a great big pat on the back!! Wonderful job, I know he feels like a new man, watch out Barb
sil, love the tat! I don't have the nerve to get one, I started to get one when I was in my late teens, I wanted a rose on my shoulder. Probably a good thing I didn't get it, with all the weight I have lost and gained over the years it would now be a weepy rose bush
Pooky can I share your padded room? I don't know whats wrong with me, but my family is still getting on my nerves.
Band practice yesterday was awful!! We had to send one child home, she was having trouble b reathing. The heat was just so thick! Thank goodness the head of chaperones is a
RN. We at one point had 10 or 11 kids laying under the tent. It's going to be in the 90's today and tonight is our first game, the kids will bake in their uniforms
Hey, I'm going to the Yellow Daisy Festival today!! I grabbed the check book from hubby and I'm going to use it! peachie is your hubby in Jersey doing the sympathy "thump" on the ground at the sound of the checkbook opening
?
I'm having trouble with this post, I just had to post it as it wouldn't let me continue. Strange, must be a little man trying to tick me off!
OMG, Debkay! That's awful to have the kids in uniforms in your southern heat! At least there is an RN around! (Reminder to self: never go South in the summer.)
Toryah, you sound on top of your life at the moment. Keep up the momentum. Now that I know where you live, I can visualize you walking along the canal.
Yes, Sue - lump on a hog is an hilarious name. I spotted it first thing this morning. Another one is deadnursewife! Hope you have a great day at work and spread more sunshine and light.
Well, I certainly helped the economy yesterday morning in town - I bought sheets, towels, new mattress cover, new pots and pans, deck chair pads (on sale), dog food, groceries and did remember the crystalized ginger and raisins for the Chutney. (I still have not made it but today is the day because the fruit flies are multiplying!)
I also bought some airline tickets for mid-November! I am going to fly to Vancouver and ferry over to Nanaimo to visit my daughter. I have not told her this yet - duh! - but sure hope it suits her. Otherwise, I'll be hanging around and bugging LindaBC. I figure by mid-November I should have recovered from my CTS left wrist surgery - and if not, it'll get me off my butt!
DH is making scrambled eggs in my new stick-free frying pan so I'd better get down before he screws it up with a metal spatula! Men! hhAve a great day! IT's FRIDAY again!
OK Chickies..... who's got the coffee??????? It's gonna be a necessity this morning! Ended up working yesterday - the phone rang as I finished posting that I was off! That's ok, I really needed the work - and it was all OB, which is fun (except for the patients who ONLY want to know the sex - not if it's healthy, but only the sex! - and get po'd if I can't tell them!)
Barb..... great news about ole' Alvin! You both are doing great - as for being the dreaded "boss' wife"...... don't worry about it, you'll figure out a new place for yourself, and just remember, ALVIN wants you there (no one else really matters!)
Deb.. never had the nerve to get the tattoo either - it was gonna be either a rosebud or butterfly near the hip bone area - GADS! It probably would have morphed back into a caterpiller by now!
Well, gotta get this bod in gear.... nail appointment at 9:30 and then gotta figure out meals for tonight/tomorrow - it's Rosh Hashonah so I'll be at services (praying to lose this weight maybe? or would that be sacriligious )
Hey Ruthie...... you snuck in on me! Quick, get that spatula away from DH!!!!!
Sorry for my absence, I have been reading posts, but not posting. The large pharmaceutical company that has purchased our company has been in all this week having meetings with us, trying to understand our work processes. So it has been a bit tense here. I am taking this in stride, convincing myself that I can handle their decision (keep me, move me, let me go), however, I have had butterflies in my tummy all week long.
Next Friday (the 13th) I will be interviewing with an executive,
Back to hectic weekends, Don has two soccer games on Saturday and a bday party. Darren has one game a bowling party. Sunday appears to be just church, maybe we will ride our bikes to church.
Deb~~Have fun and protect yourself from the sun at the Daisey Festival. It's gonna be another HOTLANTA day
Ruth~~It sounds like you had fun spending all that money. I'm sure that your daughter will be thrilled with your visit.
Sue~~~You made me ROTLFMAO about your comment "taking the kids to school at 3AM..." Too funny
Toryah~~Good luck on the job front.
SamsG~~~I'm glad that you had a good day at work yesterday. Have a happy Rosh Rashonah .
Dondar~~I'm sorry that you are under so much stress with work. I hope that everything works out the way that you want it to. If they're smart, they will keep you.
Everybody, and all to come, have a great weekend
~~~Sil
morning ladies! I'm soooooo sleepy today!!!
how is everyone?? so i had a few bites of pasta yesterday. :sheep:
but i'm hoping it wont mess me up. i think i'm doing pretty well with the challenge, even though i woke up late AGAIN today and couldnt exercise!!
what is that all about!?
ok. i am not in a working mood again, so i'm sure i'll be back shortly...
here.....for you...
Yes, I quite agree I'm ready for the padded cell--dh doesn't know what to make of me these days. Yesterday I cancelled out on going to my 19 year old cousin's baby shower for her new son--did I say she was 19?? Can't tell you how unfair that is--not that I would begrudge her her son but the fact that she didn't even KNOW about him until he kicked her 5 months! So I'm going to visit her privately on Monday without the group of women and baby talk. Let's hope I stay together!
Today is mow the lawn day--I swear you could hide a jungle cat in it (ok, few butterlies, but it's still tall!). After that, general tidy and more rest. And yes, I've been sleeping a lot and still have silly head. I can't wait till this is over....
Finally the boss is in a meeting and I can come to my favorite place
TGIF ! No great plans for the weekend, just finishing making the fresh tomato sauce I started yesterday and enjoying the weather. One thing about the fall coming is the Bee's go nuts. They fly around like they are drunk and they chase you. One year I took my nephew to a farm where they have animals and veggies, etc...we all got one of their home made donuts and were enjoying them outside walking around, wouldn't you know the bee's were attacking us like mad........ needless to say Me, Sean and my Mom went screaming for the car - BUT !! we didn't drop the donuts :donut:
Good Morning! I actually had some work to do when I got here this morning. It's hard to say TGIF when all I've done all week is surf the net. (and they pay me for this??)
Barb- I meant to say yesterday that you are probably much more appreciated than you think. Everyone contributes something different to each job they do. Your "replacement" may have done things in a different way, but I'm sure you were very much missed. We have a lady in our office who isn't the most efficent but when she's gone we miss her terribly because she's such a great mother hen. She keeps us all in line and in good spirits, and thats just as important as any other aspect of her job. I think you are probably a lot like that, your most important job is to be there for your DH.
---I hope that makes sense and wasn't too preachy. :stepping down from the soapbox:
Hi everyone! Wow, what a day! Anyway, it's all over now, and dd is gone to a friend's so it's relaxation time tonight I have a lot of stuff to do around here but it can definitely wait!
