Dates for the NYC chick meet
Jiff asked me to do this earlier in the day since her computer is not working.
Dates for July or August.
Weekends would be best. Yes?
Any weekends that are absolutely out?
and....any other info that should be put on here.

Jiff I just love that you have adopted that southern twang..............ya'll
We'll turn you into Scarlett O'Hara yet. All we need is the hoop skirt, the bonnett and a mint julip...low carb of course.
For the record, I've never had a mint julip, lol

LOL debbie... do you think that when we're all done, and have had the plastic surgery, we'll have the same 18 inch waist that scarlett had????
and dad used to make us mint juleps every derby day. a lovely treat. and at some point i actually found a mint julep sorbet recipe!! unfortunately there's a limit to how much bourbon you can put in because if you put too much in they won't freeze!!

So, what's the story with our NYC chick meet? Jif - I believe you mentioned weekends in July? Were we thinking Saturday or Sunday? The 7th and 14th are no good for me - but the other ones are! We're talking about a single day, right? Like the "joisey" meet?
What's happening for us?

Samandrosiegrandma.....we are still in. I am with you though...I would like to stay away from those weekend and the weekend of the 7/20.
I will cast out these dates and see what flies...
August 3rd or 4th? It is a Saturday or Sunday...one day deal.

You know girls that just might be doable for me.(work depending) sat would be better in that case as i work sat and sunday nights. (I do not know if i would be on days then or not or if I am working that friday so do not plan anything around me, but make plans then I will work around that. ( am assuming that i will be working that weekend as the nest weekend I will be taking off for a camping trip.
OH gosh I will have to get some waterproof mascara as I know I will be weeping!!!

Hey SammyGMA,
Oh I know lots of nice people in NYC, some of the best, I just don't like the "city" to crowed for me My nephew lives there and he just loves it.
Maybe if you guys meet some other time, I'll come
Thanks for thinking of me.
Love, Leens
