I have been dodging the subject of Debkay because I was trying to respect her privacy. I am sorry and I hope that you all will understand. So, now that I have her permission I will tell you that since her surgery she has had MAJOR complications. Without going into too much detail she spent 5 (or 6?) weeks in ICU with a lung infection and then more complications after that. Her dh, is a swell guy and calls me every weekend to update me. She is now in a rehab hospital and getting stronger every day. Debkay wants to go home!!!!
I can not believe I just talked with her!!!!!
So, if you want to send her a message, I will print this thread off to her and snail mail it to her in a couple of days. I know that she would appreciate it.
She has a radio, and can listen to her beloved (yuck) Braves!!!

I've been missing you too and wondering how things are going with you. It sounds like you've been through **** and are on your way back. I'm so glad. I've been worried about you.
And, now that your Braves have Vinny Castilla, I'm following them a little more closely. Vinny may be getting older, but he has always been a favorite of mine. Okay, okay, he's no Javy, but he's still a good guy! May we stand united in the quest for health and the trampling of those darn Yankees!
