Talking Ruth! I'll join you in that chocolate bunny!

The spa can wait, as long as chocolate is my reward! Seriously, I hope you start to feel better soon, pain sux. And you should really give that radiologist **** for slacking off!

It's errand day here, lots of running around to do and maybe dinner with a friend this evening. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!

Morning all,
Sunny and bright here in MN. We went to the mall of Americal yesterday and I bought a beautiful new wallet from Coach with a gift certificate from Mom. ( gotta love Mom!). Did the ride thing at Camp Snoopy, and thanks for the tip on the reservations at the Rainforest Cafe for lunch. kids had a great time. off for some errands this am as son's friend had a thing at church and Dad and I have the little ones and my son this am. Might go to the children's museum or just out to make a snowman. We were blessed with 14 inches of snow on Thursday.
Ruth feel better. Sorry the arm hurts so much.

Scooby: Great day at the spa.... what a nice treat!
Have a great day!
Be well,
-L

oh ruth. you have my deepest sympathies!!! think happy thoughts and TAKE SOME EXTRA CALCIUM!!! we're not as young as we once were [sorry for that bit of reality!], and you need the calcium to heal.

mom and i are at peachie's while her hubby and oldest are off at wrestling. it's a nice time for us all to have some girl time.

the job hunt is going well, at least i think it's going well. several head hunters are interested in me and have sent my resume to some good jobs. we'll just have to see. there's a great job posted at the Aventis [a pharma company] that sounds like fun, but i'm not sure i'm ready for international travel. another couple of months, perhaps.

have a lovely weekend, ya'll. and don't make yourselves nuts. it's too contagious!!

Hi Guys!

Gotta love the weekend! Everything is always so rosey and fun when there are no huge deadlines to meet!

Went garage saling, didn't find a thing, but had fun with dd who is catching the gs bug with her mommy! Then off the home improvement store for bark chunks and paint. Possibly swimming this afternoon, but think I'll take a nap first.

Ruth, glad to hear the good cry and the tylenol are helping. All will be well very soon.

Have a good one, Ladies. See you later.

i want a six hour spa treatment, a good cry, THEN a chocolate bunny. And a Coach wallet and a headhunter!

Don't know about the bark chunks though. But the nap works for me! Yes, the weekend is sweet, isn't it?

I'm just saying a quick hi- I've worked 2 Saturdays in a row, and haven't been home much to be on the computer- but I"m doing OK- I can't say that I'm exactly OP, but my goal is simply not to hurt myself too much. And it's working!

I'll read a bit and be back later- have a good night-

Glad to hear about the job possibilities, Jiff-

TGTMBO (Thank God the March Break is Over) Well almost .. geeze .. will it ever end??!! It's funny when I read about how great and relaxing everyones weekends are .. mine are crazy with visits and such. This morning my DH was letting me sleep in and making me breakfast in bed .. until .. the kids woke me up looking for the dogs leash!!! I tell ya they are lucky I didnt tie them up on the leash in backyard!!! You would think they would have had enough respect to let me sleep!!! At least the dog enjoyed it. Oh by the way .. I dont think I will be seen in public with my own dog .. I took her to a new groomer to get her shaved down .. boy did they do a number on her!! She is a Malamute/Shepard mix and has the coat of a Malamute .. thick and long .. well they shaved her so close she got razor burn!!! Poor thing .. I laughed my butt off!!! She is so pink looking .. oh well its only hair

Ruth - You get on the mend .. I will be requiring your gardening advise which might mean ALOT of typing

Scooby2 - Six hours at a spa!!! Your very spoiled .. and loving it I bet Hope you had a lovely Anniversary dinner

Jiffypop - Good luck on the Job hunt!! I'm sure you will find the perfect job.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and fun filled weekend

Howdy everyone! It's finally the end of my week and now I can get caught up on the happenings of all my friends!

Ruthie--you take care of yourself!!!!! Just what Jiff says--more calcium, lots of rest and you just let everyone else fend for you, not the other way around like you usually do. As for the gardening season--get some other hand sand you be the boss--your hand doesn't touch dirt till you'r completely healed--got that??

Jenny--have a great time with your St. Paddy's day celebrations--I have a desktop theme to celebrate the occasion!

Tippy--you have me howling My dd has discovered Snow White and is now demanding to seeit about 15 times a day! Got "HI HO, HI HO, It's off to work we go...." going through my head!

MamaJ--gee, I'd really like to attend a chili cookout, we have pig roasts up here and it pretty much amounts to the same thing--lots of beer and a good time!

Rachel, my fingers and toes are crossed for you for that job interview--hope it all works out!

Jenniewookie--Bark chunks? I'm hoping that's for the garden!

Goomba--you have got to have God's hand on your shoulder--to take in a chid that is addcited to crystal meth? God speed is all I can say and bless you for what you do!

to dottie, Good, jiff, L, peach, stilltrying, ado, JHP, casey, lara, debkay (where are ya hon?), and pretty much anyone else I may have missed!

Happy Sunday to all!!

Thunder and lightning here this morning, I must get in the shower for 830 church but have ZERO motivation.

Ruth-I do so hope you are better today!!

The Spa was fabulous, I got a great facial, bodywrap(that was interesting) sometime I will have to tell you about the disposable panties.....

I got a Long massage, pedicure and a great lunch as well as a bunch of free gifts and makeup, their makeup artist did my makeup before I left and when I got home DH said I looked like a hooker-which I did but it was fun!!!!!

We went out to dinner and had a good time, I was so tired by 9pm I could hardly keep my eyes open. A lovely day all in all.

Well I guess I must force myself to the shower DS just loves Sunday school and feel guilty when we don't go. Ever notice a woman's life is filled with guilf for one reason or another.

Have a great day ladies!!!! Ruth I am going to say that extra prayer for you this morning!!!

I'm in here early this moiring--I'm in charge of dd while dh sleeps in. Going to be a work, work, work day--the rest of the laundry, cleaning the bathrooms (yuck! ) and some more painting on my cabinet doors. I have to be super motivated this week to finish the project--my brother's 30th birthday party is next Saturday night so that weekend is out and the following weekend is EASTER!! Wow, where did all the time go? I already have all the Easter Bunny stuff for dd's easter basket so it makes less of a problem on what to get her. All I know is that there will be a lot of excited kids for the next couple of days at work.

Have a good Sunday--and hopefully restful!

Happy Feast of St. Patrick!

I can type if I rest the sling on the table - Yippee! Just back from Church and DH has cleaned up the kitchen and has the corned beef cooking in the crockpot for dinner. Have good drugs, new books and a free afternoon. I could start liking this semi-invalid state!

Hope everyone has a good and relaxing Sunday.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Chickies!

Luck o' the Irish to you ALL! Can't believe it's here again already! Where does the time go?

Pooky, my girls are so excited about the Easter Bunny that I keep having to field questions about where he lives (which I say Buchart Gardens in Victoria BC) and why all the baskets are in the stores! Oh, and dd#1 (age 5) thinks she needs a new Easter dress for every day from now until Easter! She cracks me up!

Other than that, it's a trip to the Costco to get a box of some sorts for dh. He is getting the garage in order for our upcoming big move, since he leaves next weekend and won't be back until just days before the movers come. We are looking at the 13-15 of May, and hopefully in Rhode Island by 3 June. I am getting anxious, but at the same time I am getting a little blue about leaving the west coast and my family and my friends. At least you guys are portable! Whew!

That's it for now. Time to go get some more coffee and jump in the shower (makes great splashes)!

Sitting here deciding what to have for dinner!

Quiet weekend, which I like. The little guy is in the sink and dh and the big kid are swimming at the Y. I am looking forward to both kidlets going to school tomorrow!

Hope you all have a great evening!

Default $%$##$%*&%^%#@#$&)(

OK, I know weight, food, scale issues are among the things I share with most of you ladies, but is there anyone here who also lives with ADHD? I just incinerated 1.5 pounds of bacon, set off the smoke alarm and had to find the manual in the basement to figure out how to turn it off, though I've certainly done it often enough to REMEMBER the darned code! And YES, I KNEW I should not have moved from the kitchen before it was done, what would it have been, five more minutes? But noooooo, THIS time I was going to remember, NOT get distracted and go back in to get it out of the oven, where it was cooking on HI broil. Peach, Ruth, may I please borrow those steel toed boots? How far up do you think I can reach if I can regain some of my long lost flexibility?

Your new and very cranky friend,
ST
PS Hope you all will continue to enjoy your calm, quiet weekend. I am so glad for you, as your lives seem so busy and full. Oh and I hope all the chickies from the Midwest are safe, with the weather that was visited upon you lately.
