Ladies, I realized after reading Janice's post how unclear I was on the walk I'm doing....so sorry..give me one more second, PLEASE!!!
Each person that commits to this walk, not only commits to walking aver 400 miles in training, giving up four days of their lives for the walk, getting themselves to the walk (I will be going from Texas to California) and sleeping in tents with 3000 other people (ok, just two to a tent) not to mention taking showers on the back of semi-trucks!!! But our biggest commitment is that we each MUST earn $1,900 dollars in sponsorship money. I have made my personal goal $2,400. In honor of my grandmother. She died of breast cancer in 1990.
If you would like to help, agian, even $5.00 would be wonderful!! You can pledge directly online, or just email me and I will send you a pledge form and a SASE that makes it soooo easy!
It is of course tax-deductable!!!

If you would like, can I get your moms name?? I am covering my hat in pink ribbons. Each ribbon has a name on it. I will be walking in honor and celebration of the survivors and in memory of those that lost the fight. I would love to have another survivors name on my hat. I also will be taking the ribbons at the end of the walk to the Rememberance tent.
