Default MENUS!! Jan. 15 &16

Was COMPLETELY off program yesterday and trust me my bdy is suffering for it!!! I downed 3 bottles of water thus far and I'm about to go and get my 4th for the day. Here's today's offering:

B: 2 cups of coffee
L: 3 chicken patties, 3 slices of cheese
D: 1 chicken patty and mxed vegetables

All I know is that it is going to be mainly protein today--only way to correct the damage I've done yesterday.

Atkins Induction

Monday:
B - mushroom, bacon, Swiss cheese omlette
L - chicken breast, salad
D - pork chops, salad, mushrooms
209 oz water

Pooky, Get back on the wagon. You can do it!! Remember how awful you're feeling. The thought of my stomach feeling like it's on fire like it did after my last binge has helped keep me OP for 8 days.

Won't talk about Monday

Today:

Breakfast:

sausages (4) two eggs, 3 slices of moz. cheese.

Lunch:

shrimp and crab with green peppers, spring onions, and spices, lemon juice and a mixed salad with thousand island dressing.

Dinner will be:

Rump Roast, being done in slow cooker and probably green beans or some kind of veggie and salad.

See what happens when one has time to plan and cook.

(I believe I am pmsing and feel the chocolate cravings driving me crazy, so back to the chromium supplement, actually swallowed two of them!)

Wendy,

L-Glutamine is good for sugar cravings too. jdoneil said mushrooms help fight chocolate cravings. I've eaten some every day that I've been back OP and the cravings haven't been bad.

Speaking of cravings--has anyone ever had a low carb headache? I got a whopper of a headache today and my carb content was almost non-existant. Ate a PB & J sandwich and the headache is slowly going away. Would like to know how to handle this next time without resorting to carbs....

Thumbs down

Pooky~~ Dont you think that your headache was from eating the carbs. On Monday you said that you were off program maybe the headache was your bodys way of asking for more ...I mean if you ate the PB&J ( which by the way in one of my favs on squishy white bread of course) and your headache went away.....Just a thought.

Breafast~~ 3 eggs with feta
some bacon ends, more meat and less fat. I love them and get them at a local farmers market.

Lunch~~ chicken breast with mixed greens and some greek dressing and I'll probably add some feta to this too.

Dinner~~ Grilled chicken breast (leftoevers that I'm trying to eat up can you tell?) with some fried cabbage . YUMMY!!

I'll make some SF Jello too because I'm starting to PMS and I know I'll lose it if I dont get something that I can nibble

I have to drink my water today. I"ve been really bad about that. I use to never have a problem with the water but lately I've been horrible about it. I drink soda instead!!! Not good I know

Yesterday I did so well, then evening came Yep a bowl and a half of beautiful (oh did I say that out loud?) ice cream. Had lovely (oh, oh there I go again) pieces of chocolate in it. Pmsing, sure don't help eh

Breakfast today was:

Turkey bacon and two eggs, three slices of Moz. cheese

Lunch was:

Left over Roast beef from last night with a mixed salad and thousand island dressing.

Dinner hasn't been cooked yet (hubby isn't due home until much later so I don't plan to eat till much later)

Chicken is out defrosting and will most likely make a stir fry.

Umm, had another bowl of ice cream

(Kitchen cupboards all sanded, ready for painting tomorrow. Did my vacuuming and cleaning of bathrooms too )
