I would say it is a toss up between my face, stomach, arms and chest.
Okay, has anyone else noticed this? I have more fat on my right side than my left. My right side of my belly hangs a little lower than my left. I, also, have more fat on my left back ribs than my right. My right thigh is larger than my left. I am right-handed. Don't know if that makes any difference or not. Just thinking I am looking lop-sided right now. Lol
I can tell in my neck (yay), as well as my bust/ bra band area (boo).
I've always been in fairly even proportion and the loss has been all over.
I am quite new on this journey but I've noticed it on my waist and thighs. Friends are commenting on how "slim" (I'm a long way from slim!) I look from the side.
Waist has definitely been most dramatic for me (hour glass) but I think thats where I gained weight last |
I always lose in my face first, which is nice because people notice quite quickly (there ain't many people who see any more of my unclothed bits than my face).
I can feel I've lost it off my behind this time, because I had a fall a couple of years ago, bounced off every single one of 16 steps as I fell down them, and that left a permanent injury to the fat in one buttcheek, sheared it off and left a dent that hurt, and that doesn't hurt any more. I got fitted for a bra about 20lbs ago and had gone from a 48C to a 38F, which I rather liked. I can see I've lost it from my thighs, which is nice but they never were that big, comparatively. I'm an apple, so belly fat is almost last to go, and last time (2004) it went lop-sidedly but evened up. I never, ever, ever, have an hourglass, no visible waist whatsoever. Heyho. Last of all to go is the bit that I don't know a polite word for. I learned fupa on a website years ago but don't know if it's deemed rude. Let me know if it offends, and I'll delete. It goes back on in the same order - but I promise it won't this time. :) |
I lose cheeks, neck and boobs first. Last thing to go is belly (unfortunately!) and the muffintops.

SW 162 ("obese" at my height), CW 145 (a few pounds into "overweight")
From 162-147'ish: I lost from my face and an even drop all over. From around 147: A significant loss in my abdomen. It's kinda nuts the difference a couple of pounds can make. |
I think my face first...but unfortunately my boobs!! That part of losing weight sucks. lol
I for sure lose weight in my boobs first. Then my thighs and butt and then my stomach.
When I lost 30 lbs. a few years ago, I lost in the face, legs and stomach first. At 126 lbs., I was at the healthiest I had ever been, but I still struggled with trying to lose the jiggly arms. They looked a bit thinner than before, but I still had the lovely "batwings." Looking back, they still looked far better than how my arms look now as I weigh 170 lbs. :(
MY FEET. MY STUPID FEET. I've got arms like balloons and thighs like sides of beef, and where do I lose weight? MY FEET. I just went down a shoe size. I didn't even know there was extra fat in my feet. I swear, I'm going to lose weight everywhere but my arm first, and be walkin' around like I've got floaties on.
Congrats, Indeed appreciate about the weight loss is very encouraging. For me the first area to lose weight was arms and the last one is belly.
In the past my face, I'm luckily not as big as last time. I
do miss the chisel in the face though! It has to be my butt. I'm going to keep a lifting routine it won't go flat this time! |
My feet! My boobs. Then my face and waist. I've never lost enough weight to see what happens next. I hope my arms--I can't find jackets that fit because they're all too tight in the bicep!
this time round would be that I’ve noticed space between my toes! And since we are heading into winter it doesn’t much matter! I also am noticing my belly isn’t as pronounced but I see that more when I am laying down. Oh how it would be nice to select which areas we could loose first - I would have a long list!
I always seem to gain and lose weight first in my chest. Everything after that seems fairly even.
I lost it first on my belly, butt and arms. I noticed when a lot of my tops were suddenly too loose under the arm.
I lose in my face first. Then boobs and tummy. The last to go is always butt and thighs. So I always look a little disproportionate when I lose weight but oh well it's part of it
I got down to my lowest adult weight in 2016. My legs got much leaner, and so did my face/neck. Even my doctor noticed my much thinner and more defined legs. Unfortunately, my belly and flabby arms hardly budged. I'm starting over now, but at least this time I know not to expect any midsection miracles because my gut isn't going to go until I'm at my goal weight. My stomach and arms used to get me so discouraged sometimes because it felt like they would NEVER shrink. I can't let it bother me this time.

According to this study, adding 1 or 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your diet can help you lose weight. It can also reduce your body fat percentage, make you lose belly fat and decrease your blood triglycerides. To date, this is the only human study that has investigated vinegar's effects on weight loss.

Face and boobs :( ...and they're barely a C cup when I'm at 170.
It never goes off my face really I want to get rid of moon facies. I easily lose weight on legs. Hardest is the back fat to go. Anyone else experiencing back fat? I did read back flab @saggzz
When I get too heavy - ie 250 I start gaining weight on the top of my butt and it starts layering into these like pokey things that sit on the top it's hard to explain, anyways that's where I'm losing from the pokey things are slimming down so my butt is rounding out again- not complaining however I wish it would share with this huge gut! Looking forward to seeing what's next to come!

I started working out religiously and easily lost weight (I was in my mid 20’s when everything was easy) but hit a plateau. I then eventually gained back that weight and started climbing higher. My shelf butt is enormous and I always try to find pants that minimize it. My hips tummy and now face all show my weight. Luckily, my boobs will never fade away. I’ve always been well endowed. 😊 |
My face and breast always get smaller first , then my stomach, then my bum and legs last of all. It's like I'm a tube of toothpaste.
I wanna lose my belly weight...haha
Arms, then legs, then face and neck then the torso takes the longest.
Weight Loss First
I lose water weight first through cardio exercises
around the waist
Double chin of course !!!
My friend told me first !!! And i am so happy about it !!
I lose weight in my arms first. The last place I lose weight is in my belly.
For me personally I started noticing weight loss in my face. The last and hardest place to lose body fat is in your mid section. Keep up the good work! Hope you accomplish all your goals.
I think I started losing weight in my stomach first then my legs
I managed to lose 10 KG
I find my hips and stomach are the hardest thing for me to lose
hmmm))

Since everyone's body composition and metabolism is different. However, there are some general principles that can guide you in terms of what to expect.
Generally speaking, the weight you lose first will be water weight and/or muscle mass. This is because when your body initiates weight loss mode. when you start dieting or exercising, it will trimmed down non essential tissues first in order to preserve energy levels. So don't be too alarmed if you see a drop on the scale initially this doesn't necessarily mean that you're losing fat. Also water weight loss tends to happen more quickly in the beginning than fat loss. |
