I have the exact Spanx you are referring to. The only time I have the rolling down problem is when I'm at the high end of the suggested weight for that size. I bought them, they wouldn't stay up (Even though I was within the size range), I lost 10 more pounds and then it did not budge.. no issues for an entire day of being a bridesmaid. Maybe you're on the high side of the weight range for that size?

Based on Riddy and Awshucks recommendations I picked up a pair of Assets tights at Target today.

The brown ones only are on clearance for $9.80 so I grabbed one. I hope I like them! I don't have a lot of brown outfits but I can wear them underneath pants/boots. I'm so excited over new tights lol.

Enjoy those tights, elvislover! I swear, mine are several years old, and they still look great. I wash them in the machine in a mesh lingerie bag (with darks) and then hang to dry. Since they're on sale, I may go look for a spare pair! Get yourself a cute brown skirt and top -- the dark legs with a dark outfit is very slimming.
