I am glad I am not the only one. I am only half way there, but I already went through the lululemon addiction. Since I had no decent clothes I could wear, I now also bought an entire wardrobe in a size smaller than I am now and also some in my present size. My shoe size also went down by an entire size, so I replaced them, too. Now it is off to business suites. I did not fit into the ones I still had and was way too large for designer clothes. Now that I am zooming back in I could simply not resist. Loaded up on Akris Punto and Jil Sander. I guess I need loads of business meeting snow. I know it is irrational, but it feels so good. All my clothes were shopped new or used on Ebay.

I don't spend a lot but now I buy accessories that I normally wouldn't look at twice because those were for "cute" girls. Earrings and such.

I had to replace absolutely everything. My coats, my shoes, my underwear, my bras, my pajamas, tights, etc. It was an expensive year there.

It's part of my big motivation to take off this winter weight because if I don't, I won't be able to wear the spring/summer clothes I wore last year! I do NOT want to replace them with larger sizes as I know that size is attainable and maintainable. I'm 'about' there for the spring stuff, but need to get under 170 for the summer stuff as I was getting mostly 8s and I'm in a solid 10 now.

I'll admit, I have an obsession with shoes. But what's even crazier about my obsession is that I will buy heels but not wear them. I'm all about comfort, but there's something inside me that feels the need to just POSSESS a pair of beautiful high heels, even though I've literally got like 10-15 pairs in my closet that I haven't worn once.

This is so me!!!! I do try them on at home and wear them every so often in front of the mirror with certain outfits but the practicality of food shopping or mall shopping is totally out of the question. They are all literally brand new unless they've been worn to a wedding and even then, because they are so new they get kicked off under the table before dinner is over!

I have spent a bit of money on my way down the scale before I got wise to go to the Goodwill (except for underwear, tights, etc.). I have a few items that I did invest in for the winter and now I am growing out of them (in a good way!). The stuff was on sale and I had coupons but still, by the end of the spring (I hope!) they aren't going to fit anymore. I feel guilt over that but what's done is done. I'll wear the heck out of them before then and at least get my $$s worth.

The best thing about shopping now is I will try on a bunch of things that I might not be able to buy at the moment but it's so great to have to grab a smaller size just to see if it fits and it does! So much different than in the past where I'd just cry at the clothes hanging on me.

ooooooooooo This makes me lust for success!!! I hate hate hate all my clothing in the size I can wear and I hate hate hate shopping for anything now. I have boxes full of smaller clothing from earlier eras (hope the 80s styles come back soon!) and I'm hoping to get by on those as I (quickly, please) pass through the decades and get near goal. Then.....lookout checking account....I'M GOING SHOPPING!!!! :carrot:

JoJoJo2---You are my HERO!!!!!! (OK I know it's supposed to be heroine, but that just sounds wrong!)

Summer clothes, yes, I'm buying them now and its still snowing out.

Winter clothes? I have almost nothing.

Gotta love canada.

Going from plus size to misses size, I had the opposite problem. Shopping became a nightmare. I felt like the fat girl trying to pretend that she could fit into smaller clothes. When you are plus size, you have limited options and limited stores but being 'normal' sized, you can go into almost any store and buy clothes. I used to skirt the misses section in stores, go in, grab clothes, get out as fast as I could.

I eventually found out that I felt more comfortable buying clothes online than dealing with the stores.

You are so not alone!! I have lost about 20 lbs but I already found myself buying so much stuff already! I used to be an XS my whole life, then I found myself at a L. So, when I figured out M was not far from my reach again I went crazy shopping. But I buy everything but bottoms, I don't know why that is. I went down two jean sizes and have literally one pair but when I go shopping for more I end up with everything under the sun, EXCEPT jeans!
I just got done with college a couple years ago, so I should be paying more on my student loans!!

Yes. that's all I have to say. XD

What is the appeal of lulu? I obviously can't fit into them and I don't get why people are so crazed about it? Is it super clothes?
