I'm addicted to the thrift store... I think like 75% of my wardrobe is from there... They know me when I come in... but it good motivation because I always have something that fits!!

I love thrift stores too! I have found some amazing finds. Lately I have gotten a bunch of new/near new Ann Taylor Loft items and other higher end labels. For next to nothing! Hubby has no problem letting me loose in Goodwill etc! :D

OMG y'all should've seen my date night outfit the other night... i might have to put it on again to show ya'll tomorrow lol. It was ADORABLE and the fella loved it too!

more importantly, i wish I had places to wear clothes like that...i'm a grad student and all I ever end up wearing are jeans and t-shirts :(

Thanks! And yes, that was actually one of the rules I made-- only higher end brands and/or stuff that looks expensive even it means I have to put stuff down that I kind of like. My boyfriend hated that I shop there. He still dislikes it but I don't care what he thinks about it.

sparklegirl07: I make a point to wear the nice stuff even if it means wearing it as everyday clothes because it makes me feel good! Like to the grocery store or to hang out with friends or around the house. Nothing feels better than impressing myself.

That's me too. I don't work so I dress up every time I leave the house, which isn't often as we live out in the middle of nowhere. So I take every chance to dress nice.

I wore this to Black Legislative Caucus Weekend with my bf. I fit in amidst the pimp suits and booty skirts.

My only issue is that I never take any body pictures, I have a lot of nice outfits. Maybe I'll feel more confident to do so. :)

I never used to take full body shots either, but then I realised I wanted to keep a record of my journey and also I have a blog and people wanted to see my outfits etc so I started taking them. I need to take more.

These aren't whole outfits as much as "my new shirts arrived today and I love them" post :p I'm down 20lbs so I'm feeling much better. I ordered two shirts from Maurice's and I love them ! I also pulle last years beach coverup out to try it on again. las year I just wore it as a skirt. I may wear it properly this year if I can get over my arm hatred...

My mom and I won a newspaper contest to do mother-daughter modeling of dresses from a local dress shop...makeup person made me look like a ladyboy/drag queen, but aside from that I liked the dresses!
