I have always been busty. I popped into a C cup by the time i was 14 or 15 and made it to a D cup even at a healthy weight. When I got up to my highest weight (209), they were all you could see. My nickname was Jugsica (instead of Jessica) They hurt and I hated that they could touch my stomach. So i didn't mind a little bit of a loss in that region. But I do not want to drop lower than a D. I absolutely love having big boobs as long as I lose my waist fat and get into a healthy weight range. I'm not too worried about it though. And there is a special young man in my life, who appreciates my hourglass figure :-)

I started out at a 38C, now I am at 36C, happy I didn't go down a cup size, but I know it will happen, by the time I reach goal. I lost 38 lbs so far, looking to lose another 62. When I was 135 pre-pregnancy, I was a 32C. Here's to hoping to stay that way! If not, I plan on getting a boob job (with my tummy tuck). ;)

I am naturally a floppy B... after the bulk of my weight loss I went and bought new boobs. Aside from the fact that I have a complication and nee to get them redone in a couple of months, I still LOVE my new 32Es! I think they make my waist look smaller too!

My mother saw me the other day and the first things she said?

"Oh my goodness, you've lost a LOT of weight - I can tell because your boobs are getting smaller".

:o

Uh, thanks?

Honestly, I'm a bit nervous about the 'girls' because I know that my mom and my sister both are very small chested when they are thin - so heredity is working against me. I've been overweight my whole life and I've been a DD for ages now. But I can tell they're shrinking. I wouldn't mind being a c-d but much smaller and I'll feel like I've had a boob transplant.

I have seen "my girls" get somewhat smaller and droopier.. so I solved the problem... I got new bras with "lifts"!! Life is good again!

I would love to have a D or a C cup size. I wear a 36H. I spent years wearing ugly bras that didn't fit until I got a bra fitting at a boutique. She had some cute bras in my size. They are $50+ but they are amazing. The girls are lifted! Elomi and Fantasie are two of the brands that I wear.

I hate exercising in the gym with big boobs. I hate that I wear a "good" sports bra and an exercise tank under my shirt and I still have bouncy boobs. I hate the stares from people.

Have you heard about the new Panache sports bra? It actually should be out just this month and it's supposed to reduce bouncing quite a bit. I want to try it but am working first on figuring out what my actually size is. ;)

No, hadn't heard about that! The sports bra that I wear is the Elomi one that I was fitted for this summer. I've worn the Elomi one for almost two years now (not the exact same bra, but different sizes of the same style, lol).

It's really tough finding sports bras in large cup sizes... I love the Panache Super Bra (non sports bra). I will have to try the new sports bra. Thanks for letting me know! :D

Do you have a Victoria's Secret or Lane Bryant near you? Nordstrom's Customer Service actually referred me to them last summer for a fitting even though VS doesn't carry my size. I had been fitted at a boutique 1.5 years before and I had lost a little weight so I thought I better get sized again but ended up getting fitted again at Nordstrom's when I went to the city for vacation.

I actually live in Brazil so nope. It's a major issue because they don't sell bras in cup sizes here so basically I have to measure myself and order a bunch of different bras online and hope something will work! From my measurements I should be somewhere about a 30J/JJ-32HH/J. I should get my first attempt at bras by the end of the month and then hopefully something works (and if I do figure out my size I'm definitely ordering that Panache sports bra!!!!!).

BTW, I saw on another thread that you were saying you have problems finding clothes that fit your bust but then are too big in the waist. I made a list of all the places that I knew of that sold clothes for large busted women here. I actually ordered some shirts from AJ Rumina recently and I'm really hoping they work out because I don't have any shirts that actually fit me at the moment! :(

Lol. That would pose a teeny tiny problem, wouldn't it! ;-) I've had to order from some bra websites before too...it wasn't easy, so I can understand where you are coming from...ordering multiple sizes to find the correct fit. Good luck!

You look great btw! I clicked on your blog and you have a lot of great info on there! Thanks for the link for the clothes. I can't wait to lose some weight and order some clothes that fit once I get a little thinner- like for Christmas? I know that even if I lose the weight, the curves will still be there because they were there before when I was thin.... I always hated trying to find tall clothes that had a small waist but made for someone with a large chest and hips. Not easy! The worst is swim wear. Absolute worst. Now that I've found great bras and clothes, I need to find supportive swimwear....lol.

Thanks! That's basically my plan too. I've ordered a few shirts to get me by at the moment but once I hit goal I'm definitely going to try out a lot of those brands, I can't wait! :D It really was a relief for me when I found some of the other blogs and those brands because clothes shopping has always been such a nightmare for me.

I'm also in search for good swimwear. I'm waiting on a bikini top from Ewa Michalak and I'm desperately hoping that it works out (it was on sale so non-returnable too). I swim quite a bit and summer is coming here so I really need something!!!

I'm a D, but I do a lot of jumping around at the gym and it was getting painful even with some good sports bras (I only went up to a D cup last year and I've stayed there even with weight loss). I've read on some plus size blogs that some women wear two sports bras. I thought the idea was preposterous—until I actually tried it! Works like a charm if you can't buy some newer and expensive sports bras as a "for now" thing so you can still work out.

I want to wait until goal before I go crazy buying a lot of things—bras included—so I do this in the meantime. Then again I've only lost 4 inches in my bust since I started, so I'm not sure if I'm going to go down much more. :?:

I'd love to shrink down to a nice D, personally!

luciddepths 10-10-2011 09:06 PM

I think you will find the smaller you get...the less you care about it. You realize you feel so much better being a healthy weight than how big you're boobs are.

Well thats what happened to me.

That's actually a really good idea and I've never thought about doing that. I started to wonder if I should "cut" out the lining in the sports tanks that I have and wear them over the sports bra. They are for size D or DD but of course the lining hits right smack dab across the center of my breasts so if I cut the lining out, that might work too.

Running: I've been trying to find the Panache bra to order but it's not available yet! It's worth a try....had some ooglers at the gym today and it's just annoying. Let me know how that swimsuit works for you! I've bought Lands End DDD swimwear which the girls really don't fit into but I've considered trying to find out if the swimwear can possibly be altered in someway or another by some alterations wizard! ;)
