Y'know, I loved the Jennifer Lawrence dress, but at the same time it didn't seem quite dressy enough for the Oscars. The top part of it looks a whole lot like Pam Anderson's old "Baywatch" swimsuit. It's a knockout dress and she's a knockout in it, but it's just SO simple that to me, it needed some jewelry, some trim, some glamor.
Agreed that J-Huds looks astonishing. I saw her talking to Tim Gunn and she towered over him--I had no idea she was so tall!
I adore Cate Blanchett, but her dress looks like it has a terrible case of acne. She likes to take risks, but this time I think she took one risk too much. Yikes!
And while I can't stand Gwyneth Paltrow, I thought the silver sheath she wore looked outstanding. Flat skinny dress, flat skinny hair, flat skinny neckline, flat skinny girl--it all just worked together.
After seeing Sandra Bullock in that same shade of flame red-orange that the two Jennifers wore, I guess we can officially declare it the color of the season. Looks great on them all, though. Who knew it was such a versatile color?

I told my dh it looked like pustules. I couldn't believe that Julianna and Kelly were raving about the dress like it was a good thing. Yuck!
I loved Cate's dress!!! Hers and Camila Alves were my favorites!!
I hated the dresses on Jennifer Lawrence, Hillary Swank, Virginia Madsen and Scarlet Johansson. There were others too, but I can't remember them at the moment.
