Question Gonna need a bathing suit...

So right now 16's are getting loose. I'm at that weird twilight zone between the plus sizes and regular sizes. I was a pro at plus size shopping and now I don't know what to do. I don't know where to buy a good bra, etc. Don't get me started on clothes. I just wander around trying on all the plus sizes wondering why they are too big.

Anyways, I figure that I am going to need a swimsuit for now even though I am still a ways from goal. I barely have any clothing at all. So I need some suggestions on retail stores where I can buy a bathing suit. Any good places. I don't mind catalogs and such, but I need suggestions. The internet seems to have the two extremes (slutty or grandma) and I'm going for somewhere in-between.

I've thought about Victoria's Secret but I am large up top. D cup still. Any suggestions?

Thanks chickies!!!

You're a tween! I agree, it's a hard size. I get most of my suits from Lands End, they have a huge selection.

I second Lands End. I bought a DD-cup sized suit off their overstocks last year, and it worked great, but all I was doing was taking kids to the pool. Their overstocks area has some great deals if you're worried about spending a lot on a suit you won't be wearing by next year.

fashion bug. they have separates (or at least did last year when I got mine). I got a really cute two piece. Being pear shaped I really have to go that way. The one I got was a really cute black top and bottoms didn't have too revealing of a neck.

I second fashion bug, I've picked up some real bargains there and they are very flattering!
