Anyone ever tried this? I was considering doing this for my fiance. I checked online and there is a place just a few miles from my home. I'm thinking of making it a gift to myself and him after I reach goal.
I haven't had any personal experience with it, but I have a girlfriend that had it done and the photos turned out FABULOUS. It gave her a huge confidence boost and it's a pretty neat keepsake.
I did it quite a few years ago and to this day, people still rave about how beautiful the pics came out (because of course I showed them to everyone LOL!) It's a lot of fun. I would recommend getting more than one roll of film because it takes at least that to get yourself really warmed up .

I've done my own for kicks and giggles. It's super fun, and the pictures ALWAYS look good years down the line (unless you become a super-prude and just hate all things like that, haha). Go do it!
I had some friends do this and the results have always been awesome! Definitely do it if you can and want to Would be an awesome gift for a significant other and a keepsake/confidence booster for yourself.
A friend of mine is a photographer and she does this kind of photography. I SOOO want to do it!!

Edit: I just sent her a message on Facebook to see if she would be willing to help me out with something like that. :#) I'm excited, but scared to death! I'm sooooooo self-conscious about my body.

I haven't done it, but I do have it down as one of my rewards for reaching goal. I want to see myself as sexy!!! GO FOR IT! I have seen some and they have all been really beautiful.
There's this photographer, Scott Church,
that I absolutely love! I love his ability to
show how a woman's body is a work of art.
That's what he is. Not just a photographer,
but an artist. He has such amazing talent.
He works with all kinds of people- men, women,
big, thin, families, weddings, etc.
He does nudes as well, but here's his link to

Thanks for all of the support on this! Still wanting to wait until goal, but already thinking about what I should wear, etc. I'll post if/when I take the plunge.
Actually i was pretty chubby when i did mine but i didn't care! i put on a school girl skirt and a white blouse and the guy who was taking the pics and me had a great time! my Hubby put the photo's in His office (almost all guys) and He later told me almost every guy that came in said "is that your WIFE?" LOL!! i love it. i think i was sick when God passed out the shyness.
Cool ! My friend is a photographer, and I hope to do some of these shots once I'm closer to my goal.
I'm really into photography, and use to do some amateur modelling like 20 years ago when I was in the high 130's. I look forward to being confident again in front of a camera.
I actually had my friend do a set of photos of me after I saw her blog where she does this every week for a year. If you have your own camera, you could always practise and figure out poses and things that work out for you.
YES! this is my reward for when i reach goal. i want some to show to friends that are interested in seeing them...more of the sexy, but not tooooo sexy ones. and some for my hubby and i. i think it would be fun, make me feel hot, and my husband would sure like it. i can't wait.
I'm a photographer, and I can't wait until I find myself attractive enough to be my own model. When that time comes, shoot, I'm going to do a new set every week.
