Default Difficulty finding fashionable, plus size clothes

Hi everyone.

Does anyone have the same issue as me that trying to find fashionable, plus size clothes is a challenge? I really want to get a dress for the holidays that is tasteful, stylish and in my size (somewhere around a 2x/3x) and it seems all the websites I check have dresses that aren't very fashionable.

Any one have any ideas??

Thanks

Can you sew? If I can't find something specific I want, I can usually find a pattern and make it.

I have never ordered from them but some of my plus size friends love eshakti and igigi. The former goes up to 26 and does custom sizing and the latter goes up to a size 32. They are both pricey but have some beautiful clothes, especially cocktail dresses.

You can google them both and the sites will be the first result.

Thanks SO much!

I found a dress I really like, it's a little fancy but very nice at one of the websites...

Fashion Bug has really stepped up their game in the past few years, and they just opened a new online store www.fashionbug.com

Fashion bug has long been around online. I love dress barn for a dress though. They have plus sizes in many nice styles.

Old navy online does plus sizes and they usually have good clearance as well. Target also has started doing more stylish plus-size clothing too. I noticed Macy's doing some plus-sized stuff lately, of course, it's a little more pricey than the other places I've mentioned.

My standby's are: Target, Torrid, Old Navy, Dots, and (believe it or not) eBay. I LOVE eBAY! Really, I have a problem. If you know a brand and it's sizing, you can get GREAT deals on stuff there.

Good luck!

I had no idea they had online ordering until this month - they have had a website, but with to my dismay, no online shopping last summer at my attempt. One of my friends told me it just rolled out last month - I apologize for the misinformation!

I love ebay as well... I buy and sell my clothes there often. It feels great to mail off a blouse in a size I know I will *never* be again.
